Food was average, service slightly below, and god forbid you should ask for an egg with your gammon! The chef won't do it. There were only about 10/12 people in, so the chef wasn't rushed of their feet. Pizza was very nice. Attention to detail in the service is missing. Could be an amazing experience, surroundings are beautiful.

This was our third visit to Clowance, previously we have stayed in the St Ives lodges but on this occasion we tried the Coach House and was more than impressed. The Coach House is super modern but very homely. As a matter of fact, we said that we would likely stay in the Coach House again next year. 2 x huge hot tubs outside the doors on standby. The estate grounds and facilities are spotless. Top marks again for this beautiful place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sadly it turned out that person 8 sleeper we were allocated meant 2 people sleeping on a sofabed in the lounge. This wasn't acceptable for our family. So, instead of Christmas for 8 of us in a lodge, it ended up being just 2 of us. Sadly, our adult children/grandchildren decided not to come with us. The previous 2 years we have had a 4 bedroom lodge, not a 3 bedroom like allocated this year. I rang Membership Services but they were unable to allocate a 4 bedroom due to being fully booked over Christmas. I feel that the staff on the phone there could have cared less. They were more interested in if I wanted to cancel - and it would be too late for any refund.||||The lodge we had (Woodland 115) was marketed as for 8 people, but was more like a 6. Only 7 chairs for the dining table (6 at table, 1 in bedroom). The patio table only had 6 seats.||||The kitchen utensils could do with being replaced. The knives in the knife block were very blunt. ||||The staff were brilliant. Couldn't believe that the young man attending to the hot tubs even came on Christmas day morning to check it. The maintenance man also turned up Christmas day morning with a replacement light bulb for a lamp. Both staff were very pleasant. ||||We came to a very enjoyable evening in the bar when the brass band played. The poor staff on duty were very busy. Another person would have been helpful. Having the "cocktail hour" offers on the tables would have been good. But, they were very pleasant and helpful, despite being run off their feet.||||The lodge itself was quote Scandinavian style (pine) and had parking space enough for 2 cars. It was very warm with plenty of heaters. The main bedroom was a bit dark, it strangely had no ceiling lights, only bedside lamps. The view over the area is lovely. There wasn't any plugs by the bed that took standard 3 pin plugs, so couldn't charge phone there. The main bedroom had a large ensuite with a large jet bath which took about 15 minutes to fill. Next to the main bedroom is a sauna. This takes about 30 minutes to get to heat. It was lovely. Opposite the sauna is a large shower room. There is also a twin bedroom upstairs.||||Downstairs you have a large twin bedroom and a large bathroom off the lounge area. The kitchen has undercounter fridge and a freezer. The lounge area has 3 sofas, one of which is a sofa bed. The lodge looks like it's had some water damage to the kick boards in the kitchen but everything works ok. ||||There's lots of space, but just ensure the sleeping arrangements suit your needs.||||If you're staying on Friday or Saturday there is a brilliant Fish & Chip shop just in Praze-an-Beeble, but it now only opens the 2 nights. There's also a small general store, Philps pasty shop there next door to the pub.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Clowance. The lodges appeared to have been recently refurbished and so were in immaculate condition. We stayed out of season in October so the resort was pretty quiet and we got a good price for our stay.

We enjoyed the location as it was in close proximity to plenty of lovely locations and there were plenty of food options nearby - the Pizza at Real Pizza in Camborne was our favourite!

We loved having our own hot tub and we used the pool most days. We were very impressed with the quality and cleanliness of these, although a bit disappointed that the pool was closed for part of our stay.

We ate at the Lakeview restaurant once and were a bit disappointed with the quality and quantity of the food portions. Lovely setting though so would be a nice place to go for a drink.

The service we received and staff at reception were always very friendly. We were made to feel very welcome.

We enjoyed a lovely walk around the grounds with the dog and felt as though we could have happily stayed in resort without really needing to leave!

Overall very impressed with our stay and are very keen to return next year!

My daughter and I recently spent 4 nights in a studio lodge and were very satisfied indeed with our experience. The lodge was extremely well appointment, modern and very clean. The only negative was that the bedroom in the studio suite has limited headroom so I would not recommend this particular accomodation for anyone tall although there are plenty of other options.
Every member of staff we encountered was friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to give us a great break. The pool is lovely, very clean and the jacuzzi is really very nice. Changing rooms were very clean.
I would very much recommend this park to everyone, it far exceeded our expectations.

Great weeks stay ! Lovely and relaxing. Great communication throughout via updates via text messaging. Easy check in and reception even rang us on arrival to check all was ok. |We had a hot tub which was a lovely treat. We were in there morning and evening! |Went to the restaurant twice, staff lovely and food was ok, variable menu would be great. They had a great deal on one evening -2 meals and a bottle of wine for £35. |Location is about 25mins to st Ives , Tesco and Aldi nearby. |It’s the best resort we have stayed in with lots of options for activities.|Gym was basic, definitely needs some upgrade , no free weights and mats need renewing but used the outside to run as it was just beautiful! |Lodge had everything you needed, really nice shower gel, made my skin lovely and soft! |Only issues were our lodge overlooked other lodges so needed go close our lodge blinds, we could also see into hot tub decking areas on either side. Hot tub area needs hanging area for robes. Privacy glass is also needed around hot tub area. |Only downside was the bedding, it felt clinical, not cotton bedding which is much nicer. Pillows weren’t comfy.|Top tip is to take your own pillows! |Lodge was lovely and warm when we arrived which was great plus we had a robe and slippers which were a nice touch. Netflix is available but you need to log in with your own account. |All staff work really hard to keep the grounds looking clean and tidy. We even had our windows cleaned when we stayed! |Would highly recommend for a relaxing stay where you feel looked after! Thank you !

Communication prior to arrival was great, lodge was spacious and had everything we needed to cater for Christmas. The lodge showed a bit of wear in places. Beds were the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in. Was like sleeping on a concrete floor. Lovely Christmas eve with brass band and cocktails, staff were friendly. Would have been nice to have a few Christmas bits on the lodge, tree, lights, reindeer food etc. The heating was a bit hit and miss too, one heater in lounge area that would suddenly bang which was a bit odd. All in all we had an enjoyable stay but due to the beds we probably wouldn't stay again unless we brought pillows and a mattress topper with us.
