Today another spa day. Booked the Deluxe spa day. A birthday gift for my daughter in law.
Quite a disappointment compared to the first time I went..
You couldn't use all the facilities as they were out of order..
The staff didn't seem as happy as the first time.
Had to keep asking for things.. as attention to detail was missing..
Down graded stars ⭐ as these need to be addressed by management..
Going to go back to Belton Spa in Grantham. Not so close but they were there to help new clients. And everything was working..
Shame as we were going to book a 2 day spa get away..
First time at this spa.
Great place to relax and enjoy the spa or just the pool to swim.
Pleasant staff. Great massage. Nice facilities.

We are staying in one of the lodges, the use of the spa is included. Gym is well equipped with cardio, strength and Yoga/Pilate training. The staff are polite and helpful. Ambiance good.

Today, I have thoroughly enjoyed a deep tissue back massage and facial with Millie. Millie was professional from start to finish, taking such care over treatments.
When I return, I will be requesting Millie for my treatments again. Thanks Millie it was such a treat.

The reception staff in the spa were also very friendly and helpful.

Went to enquire about a spa day. No brochure but the receptionist was very kind printed a whole one off while we enjoyed a drink overlooking the pool in peaceful surroundings.
Will definitely be booking a spa day.

We had a spa day booked with afternoon tea. On arrival, had a nice welcome from Club Spa reception up stairs, but the leisure staff on the reception on the ground floor were quite frosty, not very approachable.
Wasn’t given an itinerary of the day, which would have been nice to have handy, to confirm times.
The heath suite and pool felt a bit grubby, at one point there was a child vomiting on the side and it took a while to be cleaned up. The water in the pool and jacuzzi didn’t seem clean. The floors we’re a bit dirty and just generally felt unclean when I left, thank god for showers!
The afternoon tea was possibly the worst thing I’ve ever eaten, I chose the vegetarian option which came with 4 sandwiches that consisted of cucumber & butter and plain cheese and dried up tomato. I picked up my scone and it crumbled everywhere, it was so dry and must have been sat out for about 5 years to achieve that level of dryness. There was also a small bowl of tortillas with no dip, I’ve personally never had that on an afternoon tea. It was SO poor, The brownie had finger prints on it and there was an apple dessert that had a hair in it! That was the last straw. The only saving grace was the Prosecco - you can’t get that wrong! Looking around, no one was eating their food and nothing looked appetising.
The best part of the day was the spa treatment, I had a facial and the therapist was very good and I felt so relaxed after. Other than that, I wouldn’t go back, probably for anything. The food really needs to be looked at, terrible quality, and I’d be interested to know if the kitchen is up to scratch with cleanliness.

I had trouble booking .Left messages ,no one returned my calls. As I had been given vouchers I had to use them. I eventually got through on the phone and specified the treatment I wanted. When I went into the therapy room the therapist told me I was having something different. I queried it and she said it was part of the package I had booked. There was nothing in the brochure to indicate this. The therapist was lovely and I did enjoy the treatment despite that.

Always greeted with a smile, the treatments haven’t disappointed me yet. I love going back as/when I can. The spa day with afternoon tea is 100% worth it.
