Lovely quiet, relaxing place to stay. Good location with plenty of walks and spectacular scenery nearby. The lodges had a river running through it which added to the tranquility. No facilities such as reception. I personally had no need for them

First time staying in Ash Lodge and won’t be our last. Beautiful location, extremely quiet apart from birdsong. Spacious, well thought and and very well equipped. The owner has thought of everything. Floor to ceiling windows in the kitchen and living area with a sweeping deck around the lodge. Very private and super location. 5 minutes from the crown inn which made our stay better. We ate there 4 times, brilliant beer and food. We found our stay very relaxing and one of our best stays in South Shropshire.

Second stay in Alder lodge, still perfect! Literally everything thought of, spotlessly clean and above all, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful setting with lovely views. We will go back for a third stay - no better recommendation than that!

We stayed in the Willow lodge and it was perfect. It had everything you could think of . There was even a bottle of bubbly and milk. A coffee machine inc pods and choccy biscuits. It was so quite and peaceful and a perfect place to sit on the decking overlooking the river and to unwind . There was plenty of places to eat within 15 minutes drive but it was tempting never to leave and just enjoy the hot tub and serenity. Would go back in a heartbeat .

Myself and my partner stayed in Alder lodge for my birthday (14th feb) all I can say is I can’t wait to return. Such a perfect place and I Highly recommend. So clean and So peaceful and I didn’t want to leave. I would want to stay at Alder again as it’s tucked away by the river. The views are perfect and the local pub is fantastic. Thank you x

Beautiful views from this lovely, peaceful location. We stayed in Alder Lodge (and had the optional hot tub with it too) so we had the river on 3 sides of the lodge. Ducks, birds and the odd rabbit for company. We wanted peace and solitude so it really was perfect. The lodge itself was pretty perfect in every way too. Very well equipped and everything worked properly. The only thing that would improve it (and I am nitpicking here) is to put a king sized bed in the main bedroom. We had a fab time and will certainly return. Thanks all.

Me and my partner Daisy, her mum and her friend Allan stayed here from the 11th August till the 14th, which was last weekend for her mums 64th birthday.

The lady who rented us the accomodation was very easy to deal with. She supplied superb directions(as it is a bit remote in Clun, altho there is a supermarket within 16min drive and superb local village shops and pubs for lovely food alond the way.
Stunning place, lovely part of the world. Can't fault it really.
