Got a morning roll, disappointing. I asked for the lorne sausage with mushrooms and tomato. The lorne had a weird dry texture, like it was cooked two days ago, got a whole mushroom that seemed to be steamed, it was soaking wet and it made my bread soggy ☹️ Also, instead of tomato slices or chopped, I got HALF of tomato. I had two bites but couldn't finish it. Worst roll I've had in Scotland, unfortunately.

The girl taking orders is super friendly, though. We were in a hurry, so we grabbed the rolls and left, I only noticed it was awful after being on the road.

Can not even explain how friendly and amazing the staff is here. The coffee and breakfast were amazing as expected. However, what really surprised me was the friendliness of the staff. I was feeding my 1 year old in his bowl and as soon as I finished she came and offered to wash the bowl for me. Moreover, she got my kids goodies too. Absolutely amazing. I will never forget this place and the hospitality of these beautiful people

update,
The place has a new owner, new crew, new chef. The quality has dropped. From five stars to two.

The best Hot Topped Nachos ever!!! Very friendly atmosphere and Very friendly people working here! Nice price also. Very testy food.

After some hours out in the fresh air we wanted a hot drink and a lovely slice of cake. What we got were drinks in take away cups (anyone aware we're in a climate crisis) and slightly stale cake. A lovely looking lemon cake sat on the counter but we were told (in no uncertain terms) that it wasn't ready yet as it was still defrosting. Now, let's be real, I would love to think little teashops are baking all their cakes in house but I know that's probably not the reality for most. But could we still keep the illusion up? To know you're paying the best part of 4 quid for a slice of generic defrosted cake rather takes the shine off.

Wow! The food was lovely. We visit aviemore about 8 to 10 times per year. Tried this cafe for the first time. The breakfast were perfectly cooked. Well presented and my daughter loved her pancakes. The service was very friendly and the you staff were very attentive despite being very busy.
Thanks

Having only two cafés on Aviemore High Street, this place really is the worst of a bad bunch. When we entered, there were only the high seats at the window available. After two minutes of coming in, a table became available. As my mother has a neurological disorder and finds it painful to sit in high chairs, we decided to move over to the table. After sitting down, a young family of four came in and the server looked at us and said, “did you just move from the high seats? Want to move back so they can sit here”. After the sheer amount of attitude and having already ordered our food, we decided to move back as the family stood there awkwardly staring at us. The food was slammed down in front of us without a simple, “enjoy” or any pleasantry. The food itself was disgusting. The cleanliness was something to be desired too. My advice to anyone even having a slight thought of coming to this hovel is to give it a wide berth. Prison officers in Guantanamo Bay probably have a better attitude than the staff here. My bets the food there is better also. £19 for a baked potato with chicken and bacon that looked like the bacon had been cut in a blender and slapped on top and a croissant with cheese and veg that looked like it had been run over by an army tank with a cup of tea that resembled mud from the Amazon rain forest is taking the biscuit. The only thing this place got right was the can of Coke Zero that you help yourself to in the fridge.

I recently visited Cobbs Coffee Shop for the first time, and unfortunately, it will also be our last. The experience was disappointing, particularly in terms of customer service. When my partner requested to change his order from a standard latte to a caramel latte, the response we received was less than accommodating. We were bluntly told that in the future, he should be clearer about his order. This kind of attitude is not what we expected.

The prices also seemed high for what we received. We paid £14.60 for a latte, a cappuccino, a cup of milk, and a hot chocolate. To add to our disappointment, all of our drinks were served in paper cups. When you go out to enjoy a coffee, part of the experience is the ambiance and drinking from something more refined than a disposable cup.

Overall, our visit to Cobbs Coffee Shop left much to be desired. We were hoping for a relaxing coffee break but were met with subpar service and an underwhelming experience.

Lovely warm friendly greeting on arrival, clean tables. We ordered Scottish breakfast ( for lunch) and goats cheese and chutney baguette. They arrived in good time freshly cooked fresh ingredients that were really tasty. They also offer a wide range of choice including vegan and vegetarian and cakes. Worth a visit
