We stayed here for a wedding on 1 July at Mitton Hall and wished we had booked in for longer. Maggie is the host and she was really welcoming with fresh milk and scones on arrival. The room was perfect...there are only two rooms on site so it's nice and quiet. Loved the location.....very quiet and on a small holding above Sabden. The track upto the farm requires caution avoiding potholes but is well worth it for lovely views. Maggie was a great host......she gladly gave us a lift to and from the wedding venue collecting us at 12.30 which was very good of her. All she asked was a donation to Marie Curie which we were of course delighted to do so for such a worthy cause. Thanks Maggie. Our room was very comfortable.....great nights sleep and modern bath room with a lovely breakfast. Great views. We wished we could stay longer and will return to do Pendle Hill. I definitely recommend this bed and breakfast if you like a homely good value room to escape the madding crowd and like a rural peaceful location.

Cobden Cottage is probably the best equipped self-catering cottage we have stayed in. Everything was spotless and we were greeted with home made biscuits, tea, coffee and everything we might need. The views are superb and we had fabulous weather so could eat in the garden every night. Maggie is very friendly and had taken all precautions in these times to make sure we felt perfectly safe. We would come back.

We stayed in this lovely B&B on the 2nd of September. We were attending a wedding the following day at Higher Trapp Hotel. From the moment we arrived at Cobden Farm to the moment we left we were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. Breakfast was superb. Our room had everything possible we might need. Lovely little touches like home made scones, bottled water, fabulous thick towels, hot water bottle, fridge with fresh milk, Maggie is a wonderful welcoming host, she also very kindly gave us a lift to the hotel the following morning. Thank you so much! Highly recommend this B&B

We were made very welcome. Maggie looked after us so well, - we were made to feel at home, - nothing was too much trouble for our hostess! The views from Cobden Farm are fantastic. If we were on holiday it would have been an ideal place to stay. So quiet and peaceful, so you can recharge your batteries, and so much lovely countryside to explore by day.

Located just outside of Clitheroe, Cobden Farm offers a perfect rural retreat in a picturesque spot with gorgeous views. Maggie and John, our hosts, welcomed us like part of the family and we couldn't have been made to feel more comfortable. The B & B offers everything you could want from a break away to the countryside: lovely hosts, fantastic food and a comfortable night's sleep in a perfect spot. Our room was thoughtfully equipped with everything we might need and we got a sound night's sleep after taking in the sights and sounds of Clitheroe (a great place to visit, with plenty of places to eat, drink and be merry). I can't recommend highly enough, and would like to thank Maggie and John for making us feel so welcome.

We booked after reading the reviews and were very pleasantly surprised. This really is a great B&B with excellant views over surrounding countryside. A lot of thought has been put into the rooms. Features include a welcome plate of delicious home made scones ready and waiting to be eaten, a small bowl of chocolates, a first aid kit, TV with a good picture, a DAB radio, good quality wifi. The star of the show is definitely the wonderful breakfast - see pictures. The fruit salad is a great starter with melon, blueberries, prunes, strawberries, apricots etc, followed by a superb "full English" with butchers sausages and bacon, home made potato cake, free range eggs from the farm, black pudding, beans, tomatoes etc. Plentiful good filter coffee and a wide variety of teas. Also plenty of alternatives.||Cobden farm is most welcoming and friendly. Margaret was always available and was very helpful when my wife fell on the main road and needed first aid. Thank you so much.

This property is a combined B and B and a self standing cottage. We stayed in the self standing cottage. It was a lovely surprise to find home made scones and fresh farm laid eggs waiting for us. We toured around England and nowhere else that we stayed provided any food. Maggie was so welcoming!. The views from the cottage were beautiful and cottage was comfy and spacious. We intend to return and stay again sometime.

My fiancé and I stayed here just for the one night to break up the long journey to the Lake District. Is a lovely spot on a working farm in the peaceful countryside, we had a great welcome from not only Maggie but Missy, the adorably friendly Jack Russell, whose tail wouldn't stop wagging. Room was clean, comfortable and in keeping with the rest of the charming cottage, with delicious scones and condiments on arrival. Had a marvellous nights sleep and to cap it off, had one of the best breakfasts ever to line stomachs for onward journey. I had an amazing full English with locally sourced, fresh produce, with all the additions on request, I was in food heaven, cereals, an utterly delicious fruit salad, yoghurt, toast, fresh coffee. Were many options to cater for all tastes.||||From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, Maggie couldn't have been more friendly, attentive and helpful. Was a shame were only there for one evening and when I travel through this part of England again, this place will be my first port of call.
