Had a trip from rural Leicestershire to Birmingham this morning by train, early start so skipped breakfast. Our appointment was done by 11.45 30 minute walk back to train and we were starving. Passed this lovely place and all day breakfast caught my eye! £7.70 2 bacon,2 sausage, hash brown, mushrooms, tomatoes( tinned), beans, 1 egg and 2 slices of toast or bread and butter.Pot of tea or coffee included. My son doesn't like mushrooms or tomatoes and asked if he could swap for another option, so he had an extra egg and black pudding at no extra cost. After a short wait our food arrived. Hot plates, every element was cooked perfectly ?
Presented nicely and delicious. I cleaned my plate ?. It was clean, tidy, spacious and the staff were very friendly. Lots of other options on the menu too. If I ever go back to Birmingham will definitely call in again. Highly recommend! Stick your factory made food chains and their overpriced ?!

We arrived in Birmingham early for an event and found this gem open before everything else.

Full breakfast with tea or coffee for under 8 quid, cooked really quickly and food and drinks were piping hot.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming, even to us northerners ?

Definitely saved in my favourites for next time I am in Birmingham.

Lunch time menu is very reasonable as well with burgers from £4 and a bowl of chips for £3. You can see it all being cooked fresh too, none of this bulk cooking and keeping warm or microwaves you can get elsewhere.

Come and give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

This place was just what we wanted after a gig the night before. Service was excellent and we felt right at home. Food was great and great value! We will definitely be back when we are next in the area.

Considering the area its in (city centre) and for the price point etc; I can't knock it; service is good, food prep is quick portion sizes are good staff are friendly; you don't get many of these cafes around if you're after a builders style breakfast or what ever this is your place can't fault it.

I'd suggest going the extra 50 pence and adding a black pudding though ?

For under £10 each got a full English breakfast with toast and a hot drink each. Lovely staff and great food. Sausages tasted like pretty good quality with no gristle in which you would expect from a small diner or hotel breakfast.

Some nice looking cakes available too

Honestly I saw all the trades and brickies in there eating breakfast and thought if they are all in there it must be good! It was worth popping in. Decent prices considering location in central Birmingham. Good size portions, good variety. Great lil diner. Will absolutely go again as a trusty breakfast place that isnt packed like a spoons.

A quaint little coffee and breakfast place. The staff is really friendly, food is good and real value for money. A great spot to have a bite to eat & have a hot drink without breaking the bank. They do an all day breakfast and have a good selection of pub favourites and sandwiches.
