I recently returned to Colwick Hall to celebrate a birthday. It was an easy choice to make as this venue has hosted numerous successful celebrations for us in the past including our wedding. The setting is just beautiful and the staff are so helpful and friendly, and yet again they surpassed our expectations. From the point of booking the venue 9 months in advance right through to the party itself and the day after where we had breakfast in the Byron Brasserie with our family and friends, Geetha, Salva , Sam and all of the team helped make the celebration a massive success. The feedback from our friends and family was equally complimentary - the venue, it's setting, the rooms and the food all of which were exceptional yet again. The staff were so hard working both on the night and in the run up to the event and worked with my wife to keep a secret that friends from Australia were arriving to surprise me. The whole weekend was another a special moment, rounded off with exclusive access to the Byron Brasserie for breakfast on Sunday with my family and friends. A special venue for us, our friends agree and we can't thank Colwick Hall enough for making it happen !

I stayed here for one night and had the Mozart suit. Upon booking I was advised the room had a lake view, which it didn’t so not sure if my room was changed?
Receptionist was nice, she was friendly and welcoming. My room was massive as was the on-suite! It’s an old building so you can forgive certain things like the floors not being level etc.
the bed was quite comfy.
Ironically the shower is quite cramped!! All that room you would expect the shower “cubical” to be more roomy. Shower was leaking water out the top, needs work.
There was some kind of networking event on which is fine of course, however a bit noisy when packing up late at night loading the vans below my window.
Popped down to the bar the first time about 8pm, good service. Second time about 10pm and it was shut! Turns out I had to use the bar in the conference/event room but the staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing. A bit odd.
Big sash windows in my room which opened if you lifted them hard enough but then just close immediately meaning no fresh air in the room!! I used some rubbish to make a gap allowing fresh air to flow.

Lots of on-site parking and the area is nice, especially if you fancy a walk.

Our Golden Wedding celebration was amazing. The staff were absolutely fantastic, the attention to detail was second to none and the buffet was super, plenty of choice and well laid out. Colwick Hall is a beautiful setting and all our guests enjoyed the celebration. I can't thank you enough for all your help and support from beginning to end. Nothing was too much trouble. I can fully recommend your hotel.

We had our 4th Year 13 Leavers Ball at Colwick Hall on 20th June. As ever, the venue is absolutely stunning, the organisation beforehand with Geetha at Colwick Hall was exceptional. We take approximately 120 students and teachers to this event and it is always a fantastic evening. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the event always runs smoothly. We have already booked in for next years leavers ball!

I organised a summer party at Colwick Hall in June, and I couldn’t fault the staff for all the support they gave me throughout the process. In particular, I’d like to thank Geetha, who helped turn what could have been a stressful experience into an enjoyable and smooth one. Her professionalism and attention to detail made all the difference, and I truly appreciated her support from start to finish. Everyone was so kind on the day and prior to the day and we really enjoyed the BBQ too!

We had our wedding in the beautiful ballroom at Colwick Hall on 7th May. An amazing venue with stunning gardens and spacious signature bedroom. Everything went perfectly, and we had a wonderful day thanks to Geetha, Sam, Pramod and the rest of the team who made sure everything went to plan Thank you very much.

I was staying at the Colwick Hall Hotel as I was attending a family event so it was convenient. We had a meal in Byron's Brasserie and later we sat outside on the patio which was very pleasant.||Prior to my stay I had a couple of messages from the hotel to say there would be an event happening at the hotel so there may be excessive noise in the evening. As it turned out this was not the case and I went out for the evening and when I returned everything was very calm and peaceful.||My room was on the second floor and to get to it took a couple of flights of stays on a grand staircase. My room was on the top landing and was quite big. The bathroom was also a decent size. One odd thing on it was that it had a sloping floor which was a bit freaky the first couple of times I went in there but soon I got used to it.||There were good facilities in the room and the shower was refreshing with toiletries provided.||I had paid to have breakfast and this was provided in the Brasserie and there was a decent variety available. We had the choice of different types of egg and cereal, toast, fruit and yoghurt was included in this price as well.

Firstly myself and Jake would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff at colwick hall hotel for an unforgettable wedding, you all made it one of the best days of our lives ❤️ you couldn't of done any more for us and you all made everything an absolute breeze.
We had the stunning lord Byron suite for 2 nights, the grand ball room and champagne lounge for our ceremony and reception. The canapés and outdoor BBQ was unreal.
Everyone of our guests absolutely loved it.
You made our wedding day amazing, we highly recommend you.
