Stayed here for the weekend and the staff was fantastic. Rooms are very basic but does the job for what we needed. I can highly recommend the staff in this hotel and joining hotel the Carlton where we had our food. The manager and all the staff went the extra mile to make sure we had a fantastic weekend. Thankyou

Having already booked a hotel for 4 nights we found our self’s with a an extra night available so decided to book another night. This was the first hotel we found, ||We booked it and didn’t know what to expect because it was so cheap. ||We was greeted by a lovely woman on the front desk. Who was very helpful and informative. ||We went to our room (Deluxe double room) lovey huge comfy bed. And a spa bath which worked properly. ||The hotel is having a face lift at the moment. But for a cheap getaway that’s very close to all main attractions of great Yarmouth you can’t go far wrong with staying here! ||Absolutely ideal for a family with young children.

Shockingly bad hotel - AVOID!!! AVOID!!!

Booked for 5 nights but with freezing temperatures the heating in the room(s) doesn’t work. Their solution was a small electric fan heater - oh dear. Also, no hot water - after leaving running for a long time it was tepid and luke warm at best. Nobody in hotel to request help (reception is unmanned) and the cleaner (bless him) didn’t speak English.

Sent message to both Dolphin Hotel AND Booking.com with no resolution at this time. Currently stuck here for 4 more days freezing cold and not able to shower/bath/shave.

Decided to have an extra nights holiday and our hotel wasn't available that we had already booked!

So we booked this one and was pleasantly surprised when we arrived for a low price the room was clean. (Could do with a deep clean behind the bed)

Lovely bathroom and with a spa bath on the room also.

Very close to the beach and pleasure beach. Ideal for a family to stay.

We booked a Deluxe double room. Once we had walked up four flights of stairs, we paused before opening the door, ready to take in our room. What we got made us feel like crying. The double bed only had half a headboard. The window had half the net curtain missing. The room was dirty and cheap. |We complained to reception and the manager, who to be fair, were really helpful. They moved us to another room and allowed us to view the room to confirm we were happy. Happy is overstating it, but it was certainly a lot better. The furnishings were cheap and looked to have just been thrown into the room. The sash windows were propped open with a mug. The Jacuzzi bath was nice, but the tiles were cracked and the outside of the bath was broken, though it didnt affect the bath.|There was no Restaurant or Bar, even though it was listed as such on Booking.com. Both are closed for refurbishing.|The photos on booking.com are clearly old. The manager admitted as much to us, saying hes been meaning to update them. Given the state of the hotel at the moment, I can understand why he hasn't as the custom would drop dramatically.|The bins or towels in our room were not replaced during our stay|Parking is free but its on the road, so its free for everyone, first come, first served. We had to park a road over as there were no spaces available during our stay.|The hotel is in a great location, on a side road just a hundred yards from Wellington Pier, the Sea life centre and beach.|It feels like this hotel has recently changed ownership. I can see from old stickers in the rooms that it used to be a Comfort Inn, now it looks to be owned by H&H Hotels. Hopefully they are in the process of refurbishing the rooms but they should remove the 'deluxe' from their rooms until it has been.

Not worth the money. No breakfast anymore. Very run down hotel. Our room was about 4 /5 flights of stairs. We were not told this when booking, my husband has arthritis in his knees. The double room had 3 pillows. Instead of four on the double bed, there was a single headboard on the double bed. When opening the wardrobe door it hit the tv which was very close to the wall mirror and that mirror looked like it was out of someone’s front room with a fancy gold frame.| The decor was not matching ie wallpaper and curtains. The bathroom window had rotting wood as did all the windows when looking outside. One window had half a net curtain . The shower was over the bath. Again we weren’t told this when booking so my husband couldn’t use it as he can’t climb over the bath due to his arthritis. There wasn’t a shelf in the bathroom to put anything ie toothbrushes, toothpaste etc. The bathroom had a funny smell . As for free parking you have to be very lucky as one day we had to park in the next road. VERY DISAPOINTED!

This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room appeared to be okay when we first walked in but it was the most uncomfortable and dirty room I've ever stayed at. They had guests that were load and banging doors all night whilst smoking weed. The customer service was awful from the onset with them accusing me of lying about some of my complaints too. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
