A hidden gem on the Crystal Palace triangle. Comfort & Joy sells wraps (I've had the chicken one twice) that are delicious, fresh, as spicy as you'd like, made to order (so the wait tends to be around 5-10 minutes) and massive. In fact, that's an understatement - the wrap, priced at around £4.50, is physically heavy and could easily be two full meals (or one if you're very hungry, but you'll be stuffed at the end of it). It sells other things (such as, I think, home-made Scotch eggs and lasagne - I'll update this review when I get this confirmed), and I look forward to trying them too. If you're in Crystal Palace at lunch, I urge you to try a Comfort & Joy wrap - you won't regret it (unless you eat the entire thing in one sitting, then you may need to sleep for the rest of the afternoon).

Wonderful food, fresh, tasty and creative. Maybe Comfort & Joy should be renamed “the Crystal Palace Ottolenghi“? Ok, keep the existing name (it is catchier after all) and please keep the high standards too, we love your food!

My favorite FH market shop. So when it is lockdown I went to buy their products from the shop in Crystal Palace, ordering through Instagram.
I love spinatch rolls. Also sausage rolls are very decent and filling. It is a bit of walk from the last 122 bus stop of Crystal Palace but it was not too bad ( just keep going straight on the left). I have not tried all the ready made meals but apparently you can freeze them. I saw people are queuing ( I presume locals) which are nice! Please support them ! They are lovely people ( not just food).

Andrea catered for a special birthday party at home for about 30 people. Great communication before and helpful advice. The food was AMAZING - we had some of the canapés and the cold buffet and everyone was raving about the food. Delicious! And enough for some doggy bags for a lucky few! Can’t recommend enough and would use again in a blink. Also took the stress out of the day - thank you!

We had Comfort & Joy cater our wedding of 115+ in Beckenham. We were looking for caterers who excel at vegetarian and vegan (we are vegetarian but would serve largely meat- based for guests who were not). The food was phenomenal and throughout the process, everyone at Comfort & Joy went out of their way to help us and avoid any pitfalls. Such gorgeous food - independent and local.
