An incredible venue steeped in nautical history and ideally positioned with Cowes Harbour as a backdrop.

Commodores House was the perfect venue for our wedding reception, as sailors the proximity to the water and amazing quayside were really great assets. The building itself is so unique with quirky features that guests keep discovering as the day progresses and provide great photo opportunities. The beautiful authentic boat house skeleton allows for personalisation, decoration and lighting whilst retaining a rustic feel.

John (The Custodian and Owner of Commodores House) is a pleasure to work with and where possible is flexible and open to new ideas and helping to make every event a success.

I worked with John and the team to host an event here during Cowes week.

This is truly a fantastic venue, especially seeing as we were blessed with the best of the summer weather. The deck is perfect for enjoying the evening sun! The inside space is equally nice, being very versatile for whatever type of event you want to hold. For us, John had it set up for drinks with a brilliant wine bar, stylish art and great lighting.

The team were great to work with in the build up to our event and the evening of. They were very accommodating and generous, ensuring that fun was had by all. I cannot recommend enough using this venue for your event.

Simply the best celebration venue in Cowes, whatever you are celebrating. Our wedding party was a 'pirate & mermaid' themed affair and Commodores House made it an epic event! The hosts go above and beyond to make your day special. Thank you.

We had our wedding celebrations here in September and it went so smoothly and everyone had a great time! For weddings you can decorate the venue just how you like and have plenty of time to do so and there is also no mad rush the next day to pack everything away! Fleur was great she organised the marquee and furniture so we didn’t have to think about it at all! She also had great recommendations to help make the day run well.

Nothing too difficult to over come, full of suggestions and ideas and happy to help in whatever way she could.
Then on the day itself she was there to do whatever was needed to make sure it runs smoothly, an absolute god send.

We had our wedding reception at Commodores House, it is an incredible sea front house, great views, The staff are incredibly helpful, nothing was to much and the venue is unique, not like the several other places we visited, with same white walls, it's a special place and to top it off, you get a couple of days before to prepare, a relaxing way to get everything sorted for our special day. Well done all the team at Commodores House... HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
