I haven't actually stayed at the hotel, but I have visited for drinks and food on several occasions. The dining experience has consistently impressed me, especially the burgers, which are not only enormous but also incredibly flavorful, making them a fantastic value for the price. The atmosphere is particularly enjoyable during the summer months when you can take advantage of their spacious garden. It's a perfect setting for families, as there's a playground for the kids and ample open space for ball sports, making it a great spot to relax and unwind with friends or family.

We hadn't been for a while so were eager to see how it was now. No need to have been concerned at all. Very friendly welcome, seated and drinks order taken very quickly. We all opted for carvery and went up to choose. Great selection! Food was really good, plenty of meat and every vegetable you could wish for.|We all had dessert too which was lovely, hot custard not scalding out of the microwave. |Will definitely go again

Fantastic time. We both felt very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. I had the lasagne which was very nice and not too dry....... we will definitely be back when we are next in the area and may even bring the mother in law as the menu has plenty of choice for her to choose from.

We had an annual family & friends Christmas night party at the
Conningbrook.

From making the booking through til the end of our visit we had the best service.

This venue is very accommodating for all ages and Comfortable too!

The Xmas Disco was amazing with a fab selection of music to suit all.

All the staff worked exceptionally hard. You definitely got to see great team work & service with a smile!!!! (Thank you)

I do need to say .......I loved the food choices that were on offer and thank you for accommodating our younger members of the party with the kids menu on such a special night. It's the little touches like this that makes nights like these even more special.

After booking a wake at a local pub/restaurant, they cancelled at very short notice causing great distress. Conningbrook Hotel was recommended and when I explained the circumstances to Sarah (events) she was amazing. She had a ‘can do’ attitude and she took away all the stress. |We arrived earlier than expected following the funeral (about an hour) but they allowed us to step in out of the cold and make ourselves comfortable in the warm, welcoming restaurant. |When the buffet was laid out, it was plentiful and beautifully prepared! |I have no hesitation in recommending Conningbrook Hotel and I am extremely grateful to all staff for all they did for us.

My girlfriend and I went to The Conningbrook Hotel for dinner.|We were greeted by a very friendly member of bar staff who got us seated.|The food was excellent, cooked to perfection and not overpriced. |We were served by a lovely young lady called Mary. She was very polite, smiley and perfectly attentive without being overbearing. Overall, we had a wonderful evening and would definitely recommend.

Can't fault the experiences I have had at the Conningbrook, a great selection available on the menu and in the summer probably the biggest and best beer garden around. Plenty of space for the children to be entertained and enjoy the day with a pub lunch. George and the team do a brilliant job with their tribute and live music evenings and a challenging Pub quiz which is always fun. Will definitely return.
