Kind of what I expected, I went for the BBQ chicken sandwich, it was a little sad, rather over done fried chicken and not a lot of BBQ going on. A friend had sticky toffee putting and enjoyed it. Like the ability to order through your phone. Service was good, pretty quickly delivered drinks that were ordered. It's not a bad spot and I hope I just chose a dud meal.

We came here for lunch as we saw they had a couple of veggie options on the menu. I ordered the mushroom pie with chips which was quite nice. Decent size too and the chips were good. My husband had the veggie burger which he enjoyed, again the chips were nice. We ordered the veggie sausages with peas and beans for our baby. The sausages were rock hard and very dry (literally struggled to even cut them). We asked for a replacement which was quite straightforward and the staff were very kind about it and polite. They actually replaced his whole meal which was kind. Atmosphere was fine, toilets were okay. The table was a bit wobbly an annoying and when I wiped it for my son to eat at the wipe was very dirty so that was a bit gross but otherwise kind of what you expected at a family pub.
One thing which was alarming was how hot the plates were when served. Fine for adults but the waiter put a piping hot plate down in front of a 1 year old baby. I had to quickly move it away.
It did have a good kids menu and was dog friendly.

Fish Goujons in a wrap. Very tasty. As usual I'd started eating before I took a photo 🤦🏻so the messy bit at the top edge of my plate is my addition of mayo and ketchup.

Was there for Christmas Meal, not impressed. The taste of food very bland, the portion small as for children only roast was quite normal size. We couldn't enjoy that meal as was too crowded and too loudly as we sat next to sounders. Not recommended as restaurant for a meal.

Often pop into this pub on my commute to visit family. Usually have a meal but sometimes just a coffee to have a break from driving. Food is always fantastic with great service and staff are very welcoming. The landlord is great with customers and looks forward to our stops. Thanks to all involved with the pub and look forward to seeing you all soon.
