Stayed twice at this lovely hotel and both times were great. The hotel was great value for money. The staff honoured my room requests both times and were always a pleasure to deal with. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The parking on site is excellent and there were always plenty of spaces with a great park and fly deal. I had a nice view of the greenery and found my room very clean. The room service was great and the food I ate there was of a good standard. Even though there is no lift the staff were more than happy to help with bags. Although all the staff helped to make our stay an enjoyable one I would like to say a special thank you to Angelo, Hayley and Nicholas who went above and beyond to deliver excellent customer service. I would recommend this hotel based on my stay and would happily stay again.

Okay, so this is currently day 5 of quarantine for my husband and I. Some good points: the staff have been nice and accommodating, the security are all friendly and we enjoyed having a chat about the UK and our home country with them. The room is nice, the bed is comfortable and there is enough space for the two of us. The shower does leak a lot so just be careful. The bad points: the food is so bland, it might just be a culture difference, but it’s like they don’t believe in spice. Always get the Indian food if you want some flavour, stay away from the meat and potatoes, it’s just one small piece of over cooked meat and 4 potatoes not very enjoyable. The portion sizes aren’t bad, you get quite a bit of food, the best breakfast is the sausages. Honestly hasn’t been a bad experience, last night they did bring us the wrong food, but we don’t like wasting food so we ate it. The dinners are the most disappointing. On the other hand you get a lot of juices, snacks, fruits and salads, the vegetable salad is not nice but the others are better. I give them a 3 star mainly because of the food. 🌟

Knocked off a star because the temperature of the rooms is very hard to cool down as the windows do not open enough to let air in. As such it's very hot in all the rooms and the hotel in general.

Saying that, check in was quick. The room was spacious. The bed was a bit too soft but it was good quality so that's a personal thing. It was clean and you can use the gym and pool at the next door building (acorn gym) for free.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. The fridge in the room didn't work but I didn't report it until I left so that was no issue.

I posted a review of Managed Quarantine on my Day 4. I rated the Copthorne as 'average' then, but I understand that they are not operating as a hotel. |Now I have almost completed my stay and my feeling towards everyone on duty here is one of gratitude. It is Very Good. |Every meals was prepared with fresh ingredients. Mostly to my taste and ALL nutritionally balanced. |Deliveries to my room were always within the allotted time and my meal hamper bags contained everything I ordered.|My accomadion was spacious and comfortable. It is old fashioned (my late parents would have loved it! ) and clean. |Quite late in my stay I realized I had misunderstood instructions from the NHS about registering my Covid test barcode online and this was when I realized how efficiently the Copthorne Quarantine team works.|I was assisted by the Welfare Department/Security and front desk managers. I'm not particularly computer literate 😉 but they couldn't have been kinder to me. No need to worry about elderly parents. They will assist. |I'd like to add that when I checked in 10 days ago, both hotel staff and security went above and beyond to make sure I was settled in comfortably.|£1750 is a LOT of money in anyone's language but we should understand that the meter starts running the minute we arrive at Border Control and ends when the busses drop us off when our quarantine is over.|

Our airline put us up here after downgrading the airplane size and leaving us and several others behind. We had a relaxing 24 hr stay. Despite the large number of rooms the place was pervaded with a sense of tranquility. The staff were all helpful and kind. There were several eating options and we enjoyed all our meals. Very nice indeed.

Modern, clean and efficient, with a country hotel theme.

The food at the Christmas party I attended was well presented, excellently prepared, and tasty. The staff were unusually polite and helpful, above and beyond what I normally see in hotels, and though the receptionist's grasp of English could have been better, she made up for that in attention to detail.

I didn't see the actual rooms, but the party venue and public areas were very clean and in good order.

The party decor was excellent, although putting mirror balls on the tables with drunken party-goers was asking for trouble, and I saw at least 2 of them being stolen by revellers. 🙂

Lobby and public space looks good, but room needs renovation.

Especially bathroom. Only one main light inside room isn't enough. And mix of warm and cold white light - unacceptable. No complimentary bottle water. For sure this hotel isn't 4* hotel.

Fridge, hairdryer, coffee, tea, iron, safe and some cosmetics in each room. Good breakfast.

Fantastic hotel which we stayed in overnight before a friend's wedding nearby the following morning. We arrived late (due to travel chaos!) And the man serving us at reception didn't smile at all and was very blunt with us. However besides that we were really impressed with our rooms, breakfast and the lady on reception the following morning who was really helpful and friendly in letting us leave our bags with her for a few hours. Would return if I was in the area again!
