Had a fantastic night away at the Copthorne. From start to finish I cannot fault a thing. Room was clean, huge & lovely view. Dinner in Farrady's was great. Spa treatments & pool facilities were just what was needed. Breakfast was AMAZING! The staff at breakfast Beverly, Shelley, Toby & Caitlin were so friendly & welcoming 👍 Thank you everyone xx

Me and my girlfriend came in for the valentines package and a hotel stay for the night, from start to finish it was absolutely beautiful. They catered to my girlfriend with alternative options within the drink menu, the starter was absolutely amazing along with the main. The steak was smoky and on point especially on the hot rock and the dessert melts in your mouth. I absolutely recommend and big shout out to the team and the chef's. Will definitely 110% come back here again.

My wife and i have returned home today after an excellent 3 night stay , and the the experience began at check-in and continued throughout our stay. Every member of staff was happy and helpful and couldn't do enough for us.||Our room on the 1st floor was lovely warm and comfortable and overlooked the canal, with a nice powerful shower and lashings of hot water.||There was a great selection of drinks at the bar and were reasonably priced, and although the dinner menu was limited over the holiday period we eat there on all 3 nights and all meals were deliciously served with a smile.||The spa facilities were excellent also with the pool maintained at almost bath water temps.|The hotel is in a nice location with bars etc close to it , and there was an excellent Wetherspoon's behind the hotel on the otherside of the canal that you could reach in 5 mins on foot, and the huge shopping centre of merryhill was a mere 5 mins on foot .||Would not hesitate to recommend the Copthorne Merryhill and we will visit again.||Thanks to "TEAM COPTHORNE MERRYHILL"

We visited for Christmas dinner with Santa as a large family, and it was a magical experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious (and so much choice!), and the restaurant's environment was beautifully festive and welcoming.

The staff were incredible—extremely accommodating and genuinely dedicated to ensuring we had an enjoyable time. They went above and beyond, making everything feel effortless despite our big group.

Santa himself was wonderful, taking the time to engage with our young (and very excited!) children, creating memories they’ll cherish for years to come.

A big thank you to the catering and hospitality team for making this such a special occasion. We can’t wait to return!

I was recommended the Copthorne Hotel as I wanted to be close to Merry Hill shopping centre to begin my Christmas shopping. I must admit the hotel rooms and corridors are a bit outdated and need a spruce up, however the staff brighten the place up. I was met by a lovely young gentleman on reception who was very warm and welcoming who checked me in very promptly. After I finished my shopping trip I headed to the bar for a drink and some food. The food was lovely and I can’t thank the bar staff enough for their attentiveness! I would like to give special thanks to Toby who took care of anything I needed and made me feel really welcome in the hotel (and seemed to be running the bar considering how much running around he was doing!). What an asset to the staff. Unfortunately, I cannot comment on the pool or gym as I did not use it. Breakfast was lovely too. I would stay again.

We stay at the Copthorne to visit family every Christmas and it never disappoints. As a family of 4, we share a suite and it's great - spacious , separate area for the kids to sleep in twin beds. Breakfast is great with lots of choice and the most amazing automatic pancake making machine! Pool is a nice size and never too busy. The staff are absolutely lovely, always friendly, welcoming and helpful. We will be back again I'm sure!

Lovely friendly staff and a clean hotel!

The staff were very professional and helpful, definitely the best part of the hotel.

I loved the breakfast, I sat by the window watching the world go by.

The hotel is definitely a bit dated, but it's clearly been looked after as most of it was clean.

My only criticism was that the bathtub looked dirty. However, on inspection, I don't think it was. I think it's just really old, so the metal has rusted different colours, making it look dirty.

The rooms, however, were really dark, and my room, the executive suit, was very warm. I had to sleep with windows open and ac on, and it was only 10 degrees outside.

The food was brilliant lots of choices at breakfast.

I had a wonderful experience with the hotel breakfast service during my stay. Vikki from Faradays was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that everything I needed was taken care of. She greeted me with a warm smile. She remembered I like lemon on my water and make that happened the next morning I came in without me reminding her. She is such an attentive lady. Excellent Service!!||I highly recommend this hotel for not just the comfortable accommodations but also for the exceptional breakfast service!
