It's the boating lake...it always has been so why try getting everyone to call it Corby central park?
It's a nice place to go for all ages, there are picnic tables, benches all around to sit on and look at the lake which has plenty wildlife to see.
Sadly the path around the lake leaves a lot to be desired and could ready do with being resurfaced .
The water is more often than not very murky. So doesn't look so good.
Lovely play area for the kids, well themed.
Shame the toilets are not readily accessible to everyone and only to customers of the cafe.

Lovely food. Great selection on the menu. Value for money. The cafe is very clean and welcoming. Lovely, pleasant staff. Dog friendly.

I usually visit the lake for fishing but on this occasion I was meeting up with friends at the newly opened cafe.
Always love this place as everywhere is relaxing, family friendly, easy and convenient as I'm disabled it's a bonus for me, especially as there are toilets on hand which are open to everyone. Couldn't recommend it highly enough even if you just wanted a walk around the lake. The playground area is amazing for the children young and slightly older.

Used to go for fishing but the balif now dose not allow it as I stayed after dark to get a old man a ambulance balif is also very rude and has taken our property multiple times also lots of drunk people and drugs DONT GO FISHING OR TAKE CHILDREN

The boating lake needs improvements in the water quality or more consistent cleaning. Also, even though there was the sign I saw, which tells people not to leave trash, they still do and seems like they are not getting punished. So this place also needs more regulation over the people leaving trash.
