I was surprised and disappointed that no one was at the property to greet us. We found by chance an envelope with our key in. The room was a good size with comfortable beds. |We bumped into the host by chance who made it obvious she did not want to interact with us. No one there when we left. Just a basket to put the key into.

Absolutely love this place! Travelled from Glasgow for a break, incredible views of Oban, Staying in the top floor beautiful and scenic! Staff are so engaging and lovely! Could not recommend this place enough!! ❤️

room was lovely with a great sea view. was disappointed that for a guest house it was all hands off..key in envelope on arrival and left in box to depart as had hoped to get local tips from a local.

We have stayed in Corriemar Guest House probably more than a dozen times now and we have always stayed in Room No 6 on the first floor with large bay windows overlooking the bay. The room is so spacious with 4 armchairs we love sitting by the window in the evening watching the sun set. To us this makes up for the small shower room. A fridge is also provided now which is also very handy. This is the first year we have been here that no breakfast has been provided but it wasn't a problem as we walked into town each morning at our leisure and had breakfast at Roxys (not Tiffanys!) which we found was very good with a big choice on the menu. If we return to Oban again we will return to this room without any hesitation.

We really enjoyed our stay here - a very clean & comfortable place, with ample parking and short walk along the seafront to town. There are lots of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The room was serviced daily and we appreciated the provision of breakfast goodies and little extras. There is a welcoming entranceway and the tastefully decorated lounge overlooks the ocean and esplanade - a great place to watch the sunsets. We highly recommend.

My brother and I had such a lovely stay! We took the train down from Glasgow with just our backpacks. It was about a 20 min. Brisk walk from the station to Corriemar. The housekeeper happened to be there when we arrived - we were several hours before check-in - and she helped us store our bags so we could explore the town. It was simple to check-in. The room was delightful. So clean and cosy! We had a very comfortable two nights. There was a lovely selection of treats with coffee and tea in the room that we enjoyed. All-in-all, it was such a delightful stay!

Arrived at the Corriemar for a 2 day stay and the location is great. Room was spotless and newly decorated with great views over the estuary. Would definitely stay here again. Weather was awful on arrival but great the following day. However a storm was due to hit the following day so we decided to leave early which was disappointing.

Good quality accommodation, clean and modern room with tea/coffee and instant porridge pot. |Parking could be a problem with 4 double bay spaces but thankfully not on this visit. Whisky in the room, nice little touch and generous amount in decanter. Had a wee drams. Thank you.
