Been here for over a month, had people setting off fire alarms multiple times a week waking baby up between 12pm-1am lasting 6/7 hours before turned off, had fleas and other bugs in the room causing bites, got scabies from the bedding asked to have it cleaned on multiple occasions to no response from management, was given a broken microwave in the room complained multiple times and had no response. Fridge freezer broken, radiators have 2 options molten lava or north pole, shower has a funky smell

The rooms had no storage beds to close together the glass door came off the shower which is a safety hazard when we called the emergency number sometimes they wouldn't answer poor service when I came to the hotel there was no one to greet me got locked out of my room several times the cooker wouldn't turn on the fridge didn't work and the blind was broken when we came in the bedding is awful the pillows are old they hardly look like pillows sleep was disturbed every night loads of banging shouting and playing music at stupid a clock fire alarms went off quite a lot of times whilst I was there 100% do not recommend not my ideal holiday

This is an absolute gem of a B&B! Superb value for money.
The lady who runs it is welcoming and polite, she does a great job running this place!
The room was spot on, Modern, clean and fresh. Bed was super soft and had a great sleep. Was in room 8 which had an extra bed, en suite and a kitchen area with oven, hob, sink and microwave. Breakfast is served between 8-9am on weekends. We got in at 8.30 and there was a selection of cereal and fresh orange juice. A full English breakfast is available and was nice, it did the trick!
WiFi is available and the code is in the room. Ample room around the back for customer parking also.
If I'm in the area again I'll definitely be back!

Stayed here recently. In all fairness, the rooms were good. They were clean and looked to be recently done up.

What let's it down is a few other factors. Had to wait outside for 15/20 mins whilst someone had to drive to let us in despite prior warning when we were due to arrive and when we got there.

Noisy guests. If your room is on the front then this is Noisy also. Very much an interrupted stay.

As we were leaving to go for a walk into town, the front doorbell went and there was police officers trying to gain access to the property searching for someone who regularly stayed there.

As a whole, it was OK. But nothing more, expect no service from the staff. No reception.

Me and my mum had to book somewhere quick as we was travelling to scunthorpe for a funeral. When we got there there was no-one to greet us. When somone did turn up she let us in but didnt even know what room we was in.||Beds were horrible and pillows were really hard. Doors banging for most of the night. Breakfast was horrible and when i asked to changed my eggs to scrambled eggs the woman seemed very put out even though scrambled eggs were on the alternative part of the menu. Wasn't offered a tea or coffee with the breakfast either. Shower screen looks like it has never been cleaned since it was installed. The toilet seat was too small for the toilet. No tea of coffee offered in the rooms either so we had to buy some from the local corner shop. We ended up checking out a day early and going home. When we rang the number to let them know we was leaving they didn't even answer. They phoned me back and didn't even seem that bothered that we was checking out early. No customer skills from anyone running this so called b&b. I would avoid at all costs and spend a bit more money going to a nicer place

This hotel should not be open! It is disgusting and the service is awful! If I could give this less than one star, I would! ||||We arrived at our expected arrival time and there was no one there to greet us. We called the number on the door twice before having to wait 20 minutes for someone to come to the door and let us in. The person who let us in did not know what room we were in. He gave us a random key from the office and left. We went into the room to discover that the room has two single beds when we ordered a room with a double bed. The room was also disgustingly dirty. The furniture was covered in dust and the floor had old food on it. The bathroom was also falling apart. ||||We called the owner again and had to call three times for someone to pick up. Someone came after 10 minutes this time and showed us to a new room. The room was also not to a very high standard. We tried to ask the man about breakfast and he said we should just turn up for our breakfast in the morning in the dining room. He assured us someone would be there to serve us our breakfast. ||||When we explored our replacement room, we found that the bedding had blood on it and smelt like it hadn’t been washed. The room was dusty and the oven in the kitchenette looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for years. The toilet seat was cracked straight across and caused my partner to injure himself. The shower was so small that every time you turned around, you turned the shower off with your body. And the water that came out was lukewarm at best with no pressure; pretty much just a trickle. The windows were also broken so we couldn’t close it. The room was freezing cold all night. There was also a piece of metal stuck in one of the sockets from an old plug which I’m pretty sure is a health and safety risk. The TV also didn’t work properly. We were provided with one small hand towel between two people and had to ask for more when we arrived even though we had already requested extra towels upon booking. ||||The hotel was also covered in wiring on the ceiling and across the floors with no warning signs which is definitely a health and safety problem. ||||We turned up for our breakfast in the morning and, would you believe it, no one was there at all. We waited 20 minutes before giving up and going back to our rooms. This was after noticing that on the bottom of the menu in tiny writing it said we had to preorder breakfast the night before if we wanted any. I would suggest that as we had booked the room and requested breakfast to be included that it meant that we needed breakfast in the morning. We did try and look in the kitchen to see if anything had been left but, if anything, we left the kitchen even more horrified at the state of the hotel. The cupboard doors were falling off and the microwave was enough to make you vomit. The room smelt terrible. ||||This hotel is a disgrace! ||||We have tried to contact the owner about these problems and the owner is refusing to respond or refund us for this horrific experience.

Absolutely appalling place to be, I have lived here since September 2023 under emergency housing my 1 year old and me have been locked out 4 times as they do not tell you when they changed the code to your rooms. We contacted the number attached on numerous occasions and got no answer, I highly do not recommend this place as the landlady is very rude I knocked on her door to get into my property as the code service known as Chris wasn’t replying and she had ago at me. Even though I was home at a reasonable time

The place looked as if it had a refurbishment done. The walls could do with some colour with pictures etc. The place is extremely clean and staff very friendly. The tv in my room needs to be re-tuned, and details of the wifi connection should be made aware of in the room.
