The House
Lovely and very well maintained. Enough space to park 5/6 cars.
We got there bit early and maintenance team was finishing off cleaning and they made the whole house spotless. Each rooms had its own style and most of the rooms has ensuite, the beds layout was exactly how we wanted. One of the team member took us around and showed us the property.
Some stunning collections of antique throughout the house. Large dining room to accommodate 20 people.

The Garden
BBQ area very nice n Clean, highly maintained garden, very large table with plenty of seats. Clean decking chairs. Decent football area at the back also nice children's play area. Lots of decent spots to take pictures.

The Location
It's located very well only 5-10 mins from M5, there are some supermarkets nearby which some of them shuts at midnight.

Anyone looking for a decent countryside getaway with a large group then this is the place in Somerset.

We recently stayed at the 3-bed cottage and had a lovely, comfortable stay. We found it to be spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and well equipped. In fact I don't think we’ve ever stayed anywhere that's been so 'home from home' and beautifully furnished. You can tell the owners and housekeepers have put a lot of passion, thought and effort into providing you with the most perfect experience -- from the generous welcome basket and bbq supplies, to the robes, slippers and toiletries.
The main reason we chose to book was the accessibility for my 84 year old Mum -- the downstairs bedroom & wetroom were perfect for her.
We also had our boys with us, so the games room, wii console, football field and gardens were very much appreciated and well used.
I have to say the beds were incredibly comfortable too. I recently had spinal surgery so it's something I always worry about when staying anywhere.
It was easy to find and the parking/security was great.
The village itself is very pretty and worth having a meander around if you have the chance.
Further afield we visited Hestercombe Park, Glastonbury, Burnham and Wells -- all within about 15-30 mins drive.
After you book you're given the option to download the Cossington Park app which is brimming with useful/interesting information too.
I could go on -- there's too much to mention. I wouldn't hesitate in returning or recommending to friends/family ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stayed there on 11th August was a last minute booking as we was let down by another property as the state of the other property was impossible to stay in. We booked it around 6pm for next day last minute didn’t expect it will be to the standard. But the team has proved us wrong everything was spotless, when my family’s and kids got there it was wow. The cleaning team was there still cleaning as it was last minute booking, we wasn’t let down they made the property spotless for my family’s can enjoy the break. The property is massive and well maintained. The grass area is the best where the kids just can roam around it’s massive. Will recommend the place to anyone who is looking to gateway. Will be back again thank you for everything .

We worked with the Cossington Park team to articulate their brand back in 2023, working directly with its owner Graham and a few members of his close-knit team. We got a glimpse into what makes this a really special place. The amount of care and consideration they give to little details was evident. They warmly refer to the beautiful estate as ‘Cossie’ which, to us, was a very earnest and obvious sign of how Cossington Park is much, much more than a business; it’s a place that is loved and cared for with great devotion, and this is why everyone who stays their feels that warmth.

As we pored over the many guest reviews to understand what everyone loved about this place, we could see how they all felt warmly welcomed there, and there was a distinct aura of inexplicable ‘magic’ that many guests seemed to pick up. We found it an authentic place that homes communal values, relishes in quiet luxuries, cares for the little details and has a fascinating legacy; we think this is what builds its appeal as a family holiday house. It’s a place with some great stories.

Where do I begin with Cossington Park? I have stayed there twice now and on both occasions had such a great time!

There are several features of Cossington Park that I simply love. First of all as you walk through the gate you'll be taken aback by the beauty of the grounds. Here we made some lovely memories playing croquet, bowls and badminton. It is also the perfect place to sit and relax.

One of my favourite parts of my stay (as well as the children's) was to wander around exploring each and every room of the house. Each bedroom has its own charm so if you get last pick I promise you won't be disappointed! The rooms were spotless and I slept well as the bed was very comfortable.

If you're into cooking you won't be disappointed. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you will need and the dining room where you eat makes you feel like royalty. It was also one of my favourite rooms of the house because of the endless amount of interesting books on the shelves.

This is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed and if I could give it more than 5*s I would.

This house is marvellous. It somehow manages to be cosy despite its size. I stayed here with some friends over a December weekend, and we all really enjoyed it.

The bedrooms are very decently sized - some are enormous - and the bathrooms and heating are fully functional. The kitchen is well stocked in terms of cooking utensils, crockery, etc. and it has two dishwashers, which made cleaning up so much easier. The dining hall is impressive, and comfortably sat everyone for meals.

A stunning house and garden which is perfect for large family gatherings. It oozes charm and history yet has every modern convenience you need for a relaxing holiday. Our group of 16 (plus dogs) had a fantastic weekend there and plan to return. The furnishings, bathrooms and kitchen are all top quality along with lovely linen and comfy beds. There is even a range of games and equipment, not to mention just a few books! Lovely people to deal with and lovely welcome hampers to round it off. Would highly recommend.

We've stayed in Cossington Park a number of times now and it never fails to impress! Driving through the gates into the secluded car park, and then walking into the beautifully maintained grounds, you feel as if you entered some royal estate, and yet at the same time feel absolutely at home.

The cottage itself is almost beyond words. It has enough space to house even the largest of families plus extra guests, and nobody will feel the need to fight for the best bedroom because each one is utterly remarkable and so full of character. The house is extremely well maintained, and is kept clean and tidy by the excellent staff team.

The kids in our family love coming here because they never run out of places to explore. The house seems to go on and on, but they spent most of their time out in the expansive grounds playing on the croquet lawn, the badminton court, play area, table tennis room or just playing hide and seek in the orchard.

We'all certainly be back at Cossington again soon to enjoy yet another relaxing, pleasant and fun stay!
