Clean and tidy with a homely 70s feel. Fantastic and really friendly staff made us feel very welcome. Only 7 rooms so nice and quiet. |Parking for about 6 cars. |Good breakfasts, mainly fresh fruit, cereals and boiled eggs. |Good sized room and bathroom ( shower takes a while to get hot though)|We chose this as it is on a main bus route into the city where parking is basically non existent. £2 per trip each so cheaper than parking and only 15 mins to centre. Never had to wait more than 5 mins for bus either way. | Beautiful & fantastic historic city. Well worth a trip and Cotswold House is the perfect base for a couple of days. |Highly recommended.

Had a lovely stay here when in town for a graduation. Mark gave us a really warm welcome and the room was great, breakfast was nice too. Having a front door key and being able to come and go without having to ring was a bonus too if staying out a bit late. Close to Oxford centre, just a short bus ride.
Only downsides really would be the water pressure in the shower isn't the best, and the decor is a bit dated but it has everything you could need for a few days and was a great price for a graduation weekend. We would come again.

Good location a bus away from the city, and good.value price. Genuinely warm welcome extended by the manager on site and the member of staff serving breakfast was attentive. Overall, could do with a bit of maintenance and the ability to provide full.cooked breakfasts. Our room had substantial.damage to the shelf.on which the fridge sat, and the main bathroom light didn't work. We would.also really appreciate a larger bed, although Queen size is sufficient.

We spent a night here as we attended an event in Oxford, and I personally was delighted by this traditionally designed English B&B! It was warm and welcoming, I had such a good sleep and I experienced the simple but classy breakfast served by the host. The road was quite busy and we could hear noise from other guests (it was a weekend after all!), but this house is a perfect example of the authentic British life and we will definitely be back!

Dreadful, dated , very shabby - dirty blinds and loose tiles in decrepit shower room, mattress soft with springs poking, hard pillows, headboard loose and knocking wall whenever I moved, chintz and 1980s decor, felt like I was in a time warp place. Needs a full refurb.|Breakfast “boiled eggs and toast”. |Priced at 4 star. Very poor value for money.

The Cotswold House was a really enjoyable place to stay. The room was lovely and clean, the beds were comfortable. Checking in and out was easy.
The breakfast service felt really personal thanks to the excellent staff. It was a simple breakfast but of a high standard. I would definitely return here in the future as it was excellent value for money.

The reason for the 4 star room is just because the shower wasn't the best, but other than that everything was great.
