Wonderful stay at Ruth and Jeff’s cottage – my husband and I wished we had stayed more than 3 nights, and didn’t want to go home! The cottage is cozy and very comfortable, so well equipped. The perfect set up for a rest after our sight-seeing and its in a wonderful location.

I didn’t have time to walk on the common, but its an easy walk to the village (with a very good selection of pubs/hotels to eat), and the steam train! So much to do in the area, we didn’t have time to explore thoroughly but we did drive to Studland and another day took the bus to Swanage.

Ruth and Jeff are very welcoming, kind and helpful, and have designed a fantastic cottage with everything we needed. We will definitely book again.

Stayed here with my partner, baby and a couple friends in Autumn. 10/10 across the board - location, hosts, comfort, amenities... Such an amazing find. The cottage is so beautifully done and is just incredibly relaxing. Ruth has thought of literally everything you'd need and made the place suuuuper cozy.
Beautiful walks through the countryside nearby, plus a genuine steam train to a lovely little beach side town for stroll and some lunch. Castle is less than a 10 min walk also. Fantastic spot and amazing stay - thank you Ruth & Jeff 🙂

What a tremendous cottage! Well designed and feels very comfortable. We spent a few lovely, quiet nights here and left very well rested.
The hosts are great - very welcoming.
Lots to do around Corfe Castle and the surrounding area. Excellent walks over hills and cliffs by the sea.
Overall, this is a highly recommended stay!
