What can I say this place is absolutely amazing. The host Teresa is like a fairy she goes way and beyond to make the perfect stay nothing is a bother .The rooms are spotless and hot tub and sauna are fantastic. We had a treatments which were fantastic. 😊 Lovely quiet location. Highly recommend.

Had a weekend break here in the cabin was lovely weekend quiet peaceful .hot tub ,sauna ,sheep ,cows was so peaceful and time you would not see go by . If you looking for a relaxing break with a super host this is the place to go . I had a hot stone treatment done and it was very good not rushed and very relaxing . The host is very friendly and can not do enough to make your stay welcoming she never stops working .. would definitely go go back many thanks for a lovely weekend everyone enjoyed it .

I cannot share my experience of staying here, only my experience of the host's conduct, who first, entirely out of the blue and without explanation or apology, notified me of a wholesale change in dates of a booking that had been confimed by her several weeks before and secondly then, when i asked her to honour the original booking, cancelled. I had bought tickets for the British Open taking place nearby. Needless to say, moving the dates was simply not an option. There is now no equivalent accommodation in the area for less than double the cost. As you will appreciate, in default of any proper explanation from her, I have drawn my own conclusions as to the reason why the host chose to try to move me to different dates then to cancel when she found she couldn't do that. Booking.com, through whom the booking was made have been faultless in their customer service to me. Even they could not persuade her to honour the original booking she had confirmed. I despair of hosts like this. I am sorry to say fingers are truly burnt regarding booking any stay at this accommodation at least.

Stayed here last week and I could not fault it in any way. The warm welcoming we received and how Teresa went out of her way to make us have the best stay was just outstanding... Went above and beyond for us. She was absolutely amazing. Rooms were spotless and comfortable 😊 I will definitely be back again and again. Thank you 😊

I had booked this back in June for me and my family for the dates 21-22 September. This was for my son’s 2nd birthday. I paid the amount in full on 5th sept - fast forward a week later I got an email to say my dates had changed to the following weekend when I had not done this. I contacted the host who told me she had changed my dates without contacting me because there was no availability for the dates I selected. I had this booked for months - my only options were to cancel (before midnight that day otherwise I wouldn’t have got my money back) or change to different dates. The hosts only excuse was “yea we have no availability” no proper apology or anything. I would not recommend booking here at all!!! I have had to cancel and trying to rebook somewhere else over these dates has been a nightmare due to how close my son’s birthday now is and everywhere being booked up. Avoid country house and spa - took my money then changed my dates without contacting me in the first instance - I had to contact her!!!

Had a great stay at Country house and spa. When I arrived I received a warm welcome Room was great bed very comfortable and very quiet and peaceful. Very good value for money as well. I would definitely recommend staying.

Stayed here several times last year whilst working in the area and returned again earlier in the year and again for a couple of weeks in August....A fantastic place and a fantastic host in Teresa.. the place is spotless, comfortable and quiet..thanks for all ways making me welcome|,
