We stayed 2 nights at the Country Lounge Lodge Hotel in Morcott, as we were attending the BirdFair weekend at Rutland Water.||We enjoyed our stay very much, the owners are very friendly and accommodating - nothing was too much trouble. We arrived late on the Friday night and that was no problem at all.||The rooms are very clean and comfortable - with lovely views of fields. The no noise fridge in the room was an added bonus.||We had breakfast on both mornings and one evening meal. The food was amazing and the staff very friendly and polite.||We will definitely be back, it’s in a great location, 10 minutes away from Rutland Water.||Thank you

We stayed here for one night for a friend's wedding. Whilst the location is a little random the room was quiet, immaculately clean and the bed was very comfy. The staff were lovely and their breakfast was amazing! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again - cheap and cheerful without feeling like a budget hotel.

On a long sojourn across the middle of Britain we were looking for a place for a late breakfast and Country Lounge proved a great stop on our journey. We had a wonderfully warm welcome and we sat in a lovely room with a great ambience. Breakfast was excellent cooked from fresh produce and presented well. Far and above your average stop.

Dinner last evening hadn't booked but not at all busy. Given nice welcome taken to a table given menus asked if would like to see wine list said we would a little while later young man comes to the table would we like to order which we did, asked if he could get us a drink he could so we ordered a drink, have to say he was perfectly pleasant, but his trousers and and apron were filthy to say the least!! drinks came followed shortly after by our food, we never saw the wine list, pizza was really good Tuscan Roast Pork very dry, lady cleared our plates asked if we would like to see the dessert menu said we would 15 minutes later no menu so we decided to call it a day, went to pay and found that the young man who took our order worked in the kitchen hence his attire, didn't see the lady with dessert menu anywhere!

My wife and I stayed here recently, just for one night. We required a simple but comfortable overnight stay prior to me doing the Virtruvian Triathlon which takes place at Rutland Water.||||The accommodation is very good, well fitted out, very clean and well maintained. The location is easy to find and the on-site restaurant is also good and convenient.||||The owners called us prior to our arrival to advise the check in process - all was as we expected and the in-room breakfast worked well for us.||||Plenty of car park space, peaceful location and good value.

Stopped en route to holiday in norfolk avoid at all costs food inedible and everything covered in chilli fine if wasn’t a cooked breakfast. |No menus just ask and he would cook it very strange. left pretty much all of the breakfast paid and left to get out of the place.

Don't let the location fool you!! Well thought out dining by hospitality professionals. The owners are Anglo Italian who ooze their passion for what they do, and they do it very well. On first appearance it's looks slightly pricey given the location but once you have eaten it's worth every penny! Great atmosphere and a true destination venue.

This stay was unplanned but definitely worth the money . Couldn't fault it at all everything about this place was pure luxury and comfort. Very clean rooms and very helpful staff .. couldn't do enough for you and very quiet so sleep was never interrupted. ||||Thanks again i will be back
