Had a 3 night stay in a Studio apartment with my daughter. The studio was spacious and extremely clean. Staff were all lovely and accommodating too. Only drawback was no air con and the room was stiffling hot even with windows open. ||Was difficult to sleep tho they supplied fans the noise kept my daughter awake. Lift was out of action too on last 1.5 days though kept me fit I guess. Ate in The Hudson which is part of the sister County Hotel and food lovely. The studio had great facilities and everything you need is there to hand.

Absolutely loved my stay at County Aparthotel in Newcastle!
The location is unbeatable—super close to the train station, high street, Grey’s Monument, Central Arcade, and Grainger Market. It’s in the heart of everything, making it easy to explore the city.
They offer 24-hour parking for just £10, which is a fantastic deal, though parking spots are limited, so you’re not always guaranteed a space.
The apartments themselves are really impressive and spacious. We booked a 2-bedroom unit, which came with a master bedroom (with en-suite bathroom), a second bedroom, a living room, kitchen, and an additional bathroom. Each bedroom and the living room is equipped with a TV unit, adding extra comfort and convenience. The kitchen has all the essentials, including a kettle, coffee machine, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher. The only thing missing was a washing machine, which could be a slight inconvenience for longer stays.
I’ve also stayed in their 1-bedroom option, which feels more like a studio than a true one-bedroom apartment. Another note: the 2-bedroom was air-conditioned, but the 1-bedroom wasn’t. If you’re staying during warmer months, I’d definitely recommend going for an air-conditioned unit, as it can get quite hot.
Given the space, amenities, and thoughtful extras like TV units in every bedroom and the living room, the price feels very reasonable. Although it’s an apartment-style setup, it has a hotel vibe with daily cleaning, which is a nice touch.
This aparthotel is an ideal place to stay, especially if you prefer more space and a homier feel while traveling. I’ve stayed here multiple times and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in Newcastle—highly recommend!

Having stayed in almost every city in the country and in everything from bnb to 5 star golf club hotels. This one stands out. An amazing location but as for value for money. It’s fantastic. My room was huge. Then there was another. Two bathrooms. And a kitchen and lounge. Something else indeed. Clean fresh. Fully stocked with everything you need. Highly recommend

Perfectly situated in Newcastle, about a five minutes walk from most of the main attractions and shops. The apartment we stayed in was very clean and tidy. There were 4 plates, cups, dishes,and cutlery. There was also a fridge, hairdryer, iron ,ironing board, oven, and microwave. The reason I marked it down was the 2 seater settee, which looked stained .

The check in was easy and friendly. The room was lovely and clean but very hot! Very quiet considering the location and a Saturday night. Would recommend and reasonably priced. Close to the station. Had everything we needed. Would use again

Just home from another fabulous stay in these gorgeous apartments. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment 102. It really has everything you need and more! So comfortable and serviced everyday by the hard working housekeeping team. The reception staff are so welcoming. A big shout out for Carolina ( sorry if I have spelt it wrong) such an asset to the team. These apartments are truly home from home. We are back in February and already looking forward to it. Thank you to everyone for another lovely stay.

Lovely spacious apartments right in the city centre. | We had a 2 bed apartment - the larger bedroom had an en suite and there was a separate bathroom /wetroom.| The beds were really comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean|The only downside is that it was very noisy at night with sirens, traffic, and general noise from nearby pubs etc , but with a city centre location that can't be avoided.|We will definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at the County Apart-hotel and was extremely disappointed with their deposit return process. Despite being assured that my £100 deposit would be returned within 14 working days, it has not been returned even after the promised period.

This delay has been very frustrating and inconvenient. I expected a more efficient and reliable service from a reputed establishment. I hope the management addresses this issue promptly to avoid similar experiences for future guests.
