We first met Lesley when she owned another B&B, Whitemoss Lodge. She sold that business last year and bought this hotel.. We had planned on a holiday here before lockdown, so as soon as it was safe, we booked a week. We felt really welcome before we even arrived and looked forward to going. Lesley met us outside and showed us where we could park. She went over the rules for social distancing, what we could and couldn't do. Our room was on the second floor with a side facing window, the room was big and airy with a huge en suite bathroom with power shower. Lesley gave us the keys and left us to it. She recommended good places to eat within walking distance so we could leave the car. The first night we ate at my parents who live a short distance away. Other nights we ate at the Glendevon Hotel. Lesley made a us great breakfast each day, and sat and chatted with us. It felt like home, not a hotel, we were sad to leave this morning, and vowed to be back. Definitely recommend the hotel, Lesley, her daughter, and her parents are the friendliest, nicest people ive met and definitely recommend her hotel. Thank you

The moment we rang the bell, our stay was excellent. We were welcomed by Lesley the new owner of this property. She was warm and friendly, our room on the top floor was excellent a big bedroom with a big bathroom which had both a shower and bath👍🏼 ||She has big plans for development on her property and I believe it will be amazing but I still found it lovely and cosy at the moment.||We were given recommendation on eatery’s and local pubs.||Breakfast in the morning was second to none from cereals to a selection of fruits and cheese, then we had a lovely full cooked Scottish breakfast which she asked what time we would prefer, that was a bonus, as we had a lie in.||Lesley thank you for your hospitality and we will be back bringing friends too.

Lesley is the kindest, most warm hearted landlady we have come across in a very long time. She made us feel very welcome and couldn't do enough to help. The room was cosy, the bed was comfy, the linen smelled fab and breakfast was out of this world. Lots of toiletries were available to use. Any dietary requirements would be met. Cannot fault this B&B at all. Lesley is renovating the property and she has a great vision for the future of the building. If I am ever back down that way I will definitely be giving her a call.

Stopped here a few times now from the moment I booked and revisited I can see progression and plans that the new owner is working towards. Very warm welcome and the rooms are nice and warming breakfast in the morning is amazing with so much choice. I like to come back to see what has changed next. Love the plans the owner has for this place but still keeping the history of the building alive. Love it,walking distance to pubs and restaurants and local shop couldn't ask for more. Relaxing and warm welcome what more can you ask from a b and b oh and mooooasive choice for breakfast 🙂

If you're looking for chain style regulation accommodation this B&B is not for you. If you like charming, interesting surroundings, a very welcoming atmosphere, a superb host, a warm and cosy room, and if you're lucky in the Peregrine room a roll top bath, then you'll really enjoy being at the Craigrossie. ||Too tired to chat in the evening, we did catch up with Dave in the morning, after he had provided us with a tasty hot breakfast and good coffee. We really could have talked all day so we look forward to next time, we will be back.||Many thanks||We will be back

In Oct 17 - 6 ladies had booked for next year - 2019 for a special Golfing occasion at Gleneagles. We were told they would have a new dining room open by then and were totally refurbishing. We were quoted a price and 3 x twin rooms were booked. I 'e'mailed end of March 18 to ask regarding another room as two more ladies would like to join us - HEARD NOTHING BACK.||I rang this week - only to be told they are selling the place !!!! No notification received.

Back again after a two year gap Judy and Dave yet again gave us a warm welcome (and it was needed after riding through the wettest June day in Edinburgh's history!), every radiator was utilised. It's a great little hotel which is why we came back, legendary breakfasts and great company in the bar. Thanks again. Love the picture by the way - wonder who they all are 🙂

We stayed for one night in the Osprey Room. Very comfortable bed with a big corner shower cubicle in a lovely bathroom.||Good sized TV for watching the Scotland v England match on! Kettle & tea/coffee provided.||David cooked a fab breakfast, catering for my request of tattie scones & tea/toast top ups.||All in all an extremely pleasant stay in a clean, cosy & comfortable room. Reasonably priced too.
