If I could could give 6 stars I would. The event was amazing. all the staff were ahead of the game at every moment. Attention to detail first class. Meal amazing. Rooms gorgeous. Hotel first class. Staff out of this world. From meeting Krista to plan the event to the day when Victoria,Martin Alan Olivia Alice, the beautiful girls behind the bar and other staff whose names I didn't get get, served us food drinks and helped me set up to breakfast the next day where we were looked after by one of the friendliest, happiest ladies I have ever met, whose name I am sorry I didn't get everything was perfect. Dog friendly amazing. Honestly would recommend every time. Nothing was enough trouble and you are all amazing at what you do. Can't wait to stay again xx

This was a one-night getaway for my partner and myself. I was on business in Finland on Valentine's night, so I tried to make up for it on my return. I booked us a stay in a Superior room, and we had the 7 course tasting menu with a full wine flight. The food was great, and the service was impeccable. The restaurant manager is a credit to the venue and is a fountain of knowledge. He was comfortable explaining each dish and the reason he chose the accompanying wines. The rest of the staff were equally attentive without being intrusive. The hotel itself is steeped in history and worth a visit alone.

Beautiful setting, spacious rooms & a fabulous breakfast. Incredibly friendly staff. Martin & Gloria made a real fuss of our boys making for a very enjoyable family stay. The nearby Crathorne Arms was a relaxed gastropub perfect for an alternative early family drink & dinner. 20mins from Northallerton station and 15mins from Middlesborough accessible by Uber was perfect for us heading up from London and playing at a regional tennis tournament in town. We will make this a regular annual trip.

Amazing hotel, fantastic location, beautiful food and staff that go above and beyond to make your stay a memorable one. Alice and Olivia make the start of your stay, via a great welcome to the hotel and the rest of the staff such as Byron, Guster the Maitre D and Sarah continue to ensure you live the dream. Even turning the bed down. closing the curtains on an evening before you retire. If you are a hotel and want to know how staff should act and treat clients book yourself in here. An absolute delight. Excels in hospitality. A friendly staff will make you feel right at home. I stayed for a week, wish it were longer. These folks will make you feel like you’re family. I casually asked one member of the staff (Martin) if there were any chocolate available. A short while later, he brought me a selection of chocolate bars from a store in town. I had not asked him to do so, but he saw it as an opportunity to go the extra mile. The entire staff is helpful like that. I have been traveling for 40 years and facilities like this are not forgotten.

What a fantastic experience! Especially for our dog Marley. Never been anywhere so welcoming. They have rooms that accommodate dogs but the lengths they go to make sure the experience is special is amazing. We had dinner (which was delicious) in the dining room and popped Marley in the car for that but for breakfast they set up a special table in the bar area so he could stay with us. Thank you Martin for the bowl of sausages for Marley! The team are incredibly friendly and the hotel was lovely. Thank you again.

Excellent location, service was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble, very friendly. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and very spacious. We had a bath and shower. Fresh milk and snacks in fridge. Excellent choice of food for breakfast. We also had dinner which was expensive, but worth every penny. Couldn't fault the hotel and would highly recommend.

Amazing! From start to finish my stay was perfect. ||Came out and collected my bags and carried to the room. |Food was to die for. I have a lot of allergies and they catered for it. ||I have absolutely no complaints will definitely be back. Thank you for making my birthday special.
