This is a very attractive place in a lovely setting. The host couple were pleasant and accommodating. Their lovely dog Polly was a good friend to our own small dog, and they enjoyed a few romps together in the very large garden. Although no TV in the room, there was an allocated room for guests, with a TV and books, etc. Slight downside was no ensuite facilities to our particular room, which meant using a separate bathroom just down the hall. All in all though, a good place to stay and would definitely go back.

If you're looking for 5* accommodation this isn't for you, but if you want somewhere quiet, reasonably priced, with a lovely breakfast and welcoming hosts, then this will do nicely. It has a rustic charm about it and is set in a very pretty location. Their dog is friendly and well behaved and stays downstairs; although I'm allergic to animal hair, I was fine. The rooms were pretty clean, but beams and ornaments tend to attract spiders and cobwebs; I was thinking I could sort all of that out with a feather duster! There are only 2 rooms, both with tea and coffee, but no TV in them, that is in a small sitting room next to the bedrooms, and we did sit in there to watch TV one evening. Wifi is good and I was able to watch I-player in bed. This was perfectly located for visiting friends and we recommend it to them for any future visitors. I would go there again!

I recently returned from a two night stay at the Creechbarn bed and breakfast. What a lovely place to stay. On the edge of the village of Creech St Michael with lovely gardens and wonderful Somerset countryside all around.||||Hope and Mick were very welcoming upon my arrival and showed me to a lovely ensuite double room with a view overlooking their garden.||||Breakfast is downstairs in the diningroom just off the kitchen with the same view of the garden. Very nice cooked English breakfast. Cereals on the sideboard were varied.||||This is not a formal or stuffy b and b. The family dog welcomes you and there is a lovely old cat on the premises. The couple who run the bed and breakfast are very friendly and will offer suggestions for dinner and will even make dinner if prior arrangements are made. I did not ask for dinner as I was visiting relatives.||||This b and b would be great for families. There are plenty of rooms although not all are ensuite. There is also a large room for guests with a television and table tennis.||||Hope and Mick were very accomodating. I needed to leave very early in the morning and while they did not provide me with breakfast that day, they did make up a tray for me. I did leave about 6 am.||||I would definitely stay here again!

The place is relatively easy to find and the house is so beautiful with a very rustic feel. The room was well prepared with extremely comfortable beds. The bathroom was very nice with a tub to relax in at the end of a long day. The house is within walking distance of places to eat and their breakfast in the morning is superb. There's a recreational room with loads of literature books for reading and a variety of movies to fit all audiences: it also has a computer room if you need it.

The owners Mick and Hope were very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the showers hot and powerful. Breakfast was lovely with lots of fresh fruit, a variety of yogurts and cereal and hot pastries. I would definitely stay again.

I visited with a friend, because we've been before and loved the location, just footsteps from the canal and River Tone (we're keen fishermen). This is a lovely house and we were made to feel most welcome. Breakfast was good too and at £70 for two in such a peaceful setting, we thought it was spot on.

We chose the ensuite room and I wish we hadn't. There is no door between the bedroom and (very small, you have to sit sideways on the loo) bathroom and we had attended a wedding at which there was plenty of rich food. At about 3 a.m I awoke with a churning stomach and a sinking feeling as I realised that I had three options: 1. sneak downstairs into the garden. 2. wake my beloved and ask her to go and wait in the corridor, or 3. disgrace myself very publicly and noisily. I won't say which I did but I suggest booking the other room with seperate bathroom (there is one).

One of the most peaceful places in the whole wild world. In the heart of Somerset with too too much to see within easy reach. I didn't want to leave!
Lovely welcoming family and the best dog and cat team you'll ever meet.
