Gwen and Lee are excellent hosts! Very helpful and personable. We were in the large ground floor family room. Lovely spacious room with honestly the best shower pressure you'll ever experience. Nice large good quality towels too. Breakfast is top notch and the location is very good. Love the free off street parking. Thank you for a lovely stay ❤

We had an excellent stay at crescent lodge in Whitby. The owners Lee and Gwen were very friendly and welcoming. The lodge is absolutely immaculately clean and the bathroom spotless as well. The breakfast had a great choice to choose from and was amazing but I would of liked tinned tomatoes on my breakfast but I suppose you can’t please everyone 😂. Just my preference.i suppose I didn’t ask so my fault anyway. Still was very nice. Nothing was too much trouble. Location is very good for a stroll to the town. There is also 1 parking bay for every room which is an added bonus. We will definitely book again. Thank you very much

Lovely guest house spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was ordered the night before and was ready on coming down. This is well organised. Gwen and Lee were on hand if we needed anything. We liked that we had our own parking space. We never moved the car as used buses which are readily available. I have no hesitation in recommending this B&B

From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome and at home. The room was very well appointed and had everything we could have wished for - plenty of tea and coffee, very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and Gwen was very attentive. Well done both of you. |Property was very near an interesting park. Bus stop at the end of the road made it unnecessary to take the car anywhere locally. Walking into town easy, back depends on how you are with walking up!

We had a wonderful stay at Crescent Guest House. Gwen and Lee are perfect hosts. The room was beautiful and clean and everything had been thought out what you need.
The breakfast was wonderful 10 out of 10.
Parking in the front of the house for each room made everything so simple. As it can be a nightmare parking in Whitby with all the zone areas.
Thank you both, and we are looking forward to staying again in a couple of months.

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Crescent Lodge. Very welcoming hosts. Beautiful ground floor room. Spotlessly clean. Comfy beds and pillows. Great having a fridge in the room and the addition of fresh milk daily was a bonus and perfect little touch. Quiet at night, slept well. The ensuite bathroom was very good with an excellent shower. Breakfast was pre ordered the night before. Time slot for breakfast worked well. The breakfast itself was amazing. Everything on the plate was cooked just right. Best sausage I have ever eaten. This hotel had on site parking which was great for us and we walked everywhere. Highly recommend this hotel.

We booked direct with the hotel which was cheaper than booking on line.|We arrived and the welcome was lovely from Gwen and Lee. We were given room 5 which we would highly recommend. It was beautiful, large and exceptionally clean as was the bathroom. Bedding towels provided also exceptional clean. |Breakfast highly recommend, full English and perfectly cooked.|Great location with the benefit of parking in-front.|Lovely host and hostess.|Pat and Chris.

Gwen and Lee are perfect hosts! We stayed in the large ground floor room. Loads of room to relax…. 2 chairs, closet, mini-fridge, tea service, cookies, vanity w/stool, make-up mirror, super king and a twin bed. Spotless, with great quality beds, sheets and towels. The shower had the best water pressure that you will ever experience (wish we had this shower in our UK home and our US house)! The Full English Breakfast is bountiful and of the highest quality, quick and hot. Two minute walk to the sea front. We will definitely return. Thanks so very much Gwen and Lee for a perfect 4 night stay!
