Don’t go. The food was quite good by the way. |But they threw us of there (emotionally not physically that is) as one may a tissue after sneezing.|Thankfully I did not end up in a bin but I did end up perplexed.|I felt things beginning to go downhill, when I asked for water. |They looked at me like I had asked for 20 percentage off my bill.|I realise now I should have answered “bottle” and not “tap” when they offered me the choice. |Have to be honest, I was trying to save money ( and possibly the environment) by choosing tap. |Anyhow, I was hungry and as previously stated, I really enjoyed the food. I would have enjoyed my visit a little more. If I hadn’t been to made feel like a round peg in a square hole. “Would you like the bill” they enquired just after I had taken my last mouthful. What I would have like was a little more time. Next time I will go to one of the more welcoming and customer care eateries that abound in Waterloo/Seaforth. This in my experience was not one of them.

Came to the beautiful Lakeside restaurant on Easter Sunday Lunch we were a group of 8 adults 3 children. We had the most relaxing enjoyable time here we were well looked after by Wendy and her amazing serving staff . The food was delicious and hot well presented and lashings of their fab gravy. The table we were dotted at what a perfect view of the lakeside marina and the sun was shining...perfect Easter Sunday. Thankyou to Wendy and her amazing staff for looking after us. We will definitely be back x

Hi. I was at The Lakeside today as a supplier for their wedding fayre. Myself and my team had breakfast after setting up our displays. Wow. The service from the Front greeting desk to the waitering team to the collection of used plates and the cashier on the till was outstanding. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The food although just a breakfast menu beautifully cooked and served. Far beyond my expectations. Thank you to the Chef and tge service team. You did your venue very proud. You fuelled my team well for a great wedding fayre. I will be back with my family and dogs. Stunningly beautiful venue...and surroundings... a hidden gem. Thank you. Karena.

Three of us went for an evening meal, so enjoyable. The food was faultless, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. The staff are friendly and very welcoming. Will definitely return, thank you.

Went here after a long walk down the beach, we ordered food and coffee. The coffee was cold had to return it only for the second cup to be cold as well even though we requested it to be hot. Then the food arrived I ordered bacon and tomato in toasted bread. Well it come and I had to make the sandwich myself butter was on the side and the 2 slices of tomatoes was in a small bowl on the side. Now I don’t have my glasses with me so could not read menu or the bill, so we paid and took the bill home to see how much it cost, I was surprised to see that the 2 slices off tomato cost £3 wasn’t even a full one just 2 slices and a device charge was also added which I wasn’t aware off, seen as the service was awful and coffee was cold I would like it to be up to me if am going to tip, we’re not in the USA we don’t have to tip for bad food and bad service, I would not return here. There is much nicer cafes in Crosby at cheaper prices. And I don’t mind paying if it’s worth paying for

An Unforgettable Experience at Crosby Lake Slide Lake House!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

On Sunday, 9th February, visited Crosby Lake Slide Lake House, and I can confidently say it was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had! From the moment we arrived, the warmth and understanding from the staff were beyond exceptional, making our visit truly unforgettable.

My little cousin has multiple complex needs, including autism, being non-verbal, and predominantly wheelchair bound. Finding restaurants that genuinely cater to these needs without making us feel like an inconvenience can be incredibly difficult, but this place exceeded all expectations.

A huge heartfelt thank you to Wendy, who went above and beyond to ensure that our food was carefully prepared to accommodate my little cousin’s dietary needs. Her kindness, patience, and willingness to listen made all the difference we didn’t have to stress or constantly explain, which is something we deeply appreciate.

And thank you to Callum, who personally brought our food outside to us, making sure everything was absolutely perfect. He didn’t just deliver the food he checked in on us, ensured we had everything we needed, and made us feel genuinely welcome. It’s rare to experience such thoughtful service, and it made the world of difference.

Unlike other places where we have sadly felt out of place or even discriminated against, Crosby Lake Slide Lake House made us feel like we belonged. The team’s compassion, understanding, and dedication to ensuring everyone has a fantastic experience regardless of their needs sets them apart.

The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff’s kindness made our visit one we will always remember.

If you’re looking for a beautiful, welcoming restaurant with outstanding service, delicious food, and a team that truly cares, look no further! Crosby Lake Slide Lake House is a must visit! We will absolutely be returning and recommending it to everyone we know.

Firstly, 6 stars to all the service staff here. Nothing too much trouble, smiles from everyone and so attentive. I've done 20 years of hospitality and really struggle to find my standard of service. These guys have it nailed. The food was hot and fresh, and the coffees and mochas were excellent. Thanks ever so much for a wonderful early afternoon spent here.

Great venue for a conference. Hosted around 60 attendees. Food was great staff very friendly. Location with crosby beach views, anple parking facilities are great and very clean. I would highly recommend.
