Large pub with rooms located in Old Sodbury, the pub has character and is a great place to meet up with friends and family. They have a large selection of lagers and my favourite Peroni. The food is what you would expect from a Greene King. Its standard pub grub don't expect anything more. All in all a good pub in a handy location. I would definitely return if I'm in the area.

Fabulous fella on the desk, he sorted our breakfast when our provider hadn’t booked us in for included breakfast. Had a great meal here, Kirsty is an absolute rock star, works her butt off, loveliest girl you’d ever meet. Our room was great, had an awesome stay here on our Cotswold Way walk.

I met with a friend in the Cross Hands hotel restaurant. We were well served by Christine who was so pleasant in manner. She was very attentive, serving us promptly, while also giving plenty of time for us to decide what we wanted. The food and drinks were good, and all in all we had a very enjoyable meal. Thank you.

Hotel staff could not do enough for us to make our stay pleasurable, they were all so friendly and helpful. The breakfast and evening meal was great, the room was warm and the bed was comfy. Lovely historical building but I agree with other reviewers the company need to spend some money to update the hotel. I expect the good reviews may prevent this but the fantastic staff are elevating this.

Great little dog friendly pub. Light lunches at really good price and definitely cooked while we waited.
Water, biscuits and blankets for the dog.
Nice calm atmosphere at lunchtime.

This is a review of the restaurant only.
Came here with my daughter after doing a circular walk in the area. Excellent value for money on their light bits lunch menu. It was small plates of their usual main menu, which suited us perfectly. 2 courses £8.99! You could've have 3 courses for £10.99.
We both had chicken strips to start which came with rocket and a dip and for our main we both had hunters chicken. I asked not to have any chips and so had extra salad. It was really very tasty and a lovely ambience in the restaurant. We had late lunch at 2.30 and there were only one other table occupied. I had booked online but certainly on this particular Monday, there was no need. Definitely going there again!

We had a 30th birthday party for 22 people in their private room. I cannot praise the hotel enough. The staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent. Our rooms were upgraded for free and the rooms were beautiful and big super comfortable bed. Highly recommended
