Very comfortable and the hostess couldn't have been kinder or more helpful; great breakfast choices to speed us on our way. And proper milk in a fridge to have with tea in the room!! The rooms were comfortable and clean and my 2 small dogs were welcomed too. My only reservation was that there was a strong smell of drains in my (perfectly clean) single room - hopefully only temporary!

We stayed here whilst attending a wedding at a local venue. The room was clean, warm and comfortable, the shower was great. Julie was warm and welcoming and really helpful, even giving us a lift to collect our car the next day! The breakfast was delicious. If we return to this area, we will definitely book here again!

We didn’t enjoy our stay. The room was small with a poor layout. One of the twin beds had a terrible mattress. The shower was awkward and made terrible noises, the walls were paper thin and we had a hellish child next door jumping on the bed and playing noisy computer games while we were trying to sleep. The place was scruffy and in need of upgrading and then to finish it off there was only instant coffee at breakfast. In summary, ridiculously overpriced for what was provided. We would recommend avoiding and find somewhere else.

Had an absolutely fantastic week in the Crossroads. I was in Cumbria for work and Julie and the team were all incredible. The rooms were immaculate, the breakfast was amazing and the Greyhound Inn which they also run was a great evening. |The location made it extremely easy for me to get around and the drive and views make it very enjoyable!

First time stayed here & going back next week, nice surprise was a guest lounge.
Great location just off M6 junction 42 Carlisle, better value than Premier inn.
We booked 3 rooms 1 single 1 king size 1 family all with onsuite shower.
If like me you are travelling from way down south to the top of Scotland this is a great place to break your journey & a good breakfast to start you off next day.

Super B&B and very good value. Clean, recently updated room with a comfortable kingsize bed. Excellent breakfast with a vegan / veggie option.

Nice night stay||Stayed with the family on our route back from Scotland. |We stayed in the family room , plenty of room . Coffee and tea making facilities. |Lovely cooked breakfast before our journey back . |Friendly owners and staff .|Also lovely doggies 🙂

Stayed twice with Julie and the team. It wasn't the best of years, Mum was terminally ill and then passed but knowing I'd a place to stay and they understood my situation made such a difference.

Julie was amazing, the dogs were gorgeous and we were made to feel so very welcome. We were let down one night on a dinner booking so went to the Greyhound and it was lovely, perfect for my Dad.

Delighted to see that they now do breakfasts, so I may be able to encourage my Dad out to meet the team.
