Stayed in Tawney Hill for just 1 night . We are local to the area but felt like we were miles away, it’s so secluded . It’s such a different experience to any shepherds hut I have stayed in and the hot tub under the stars just topped it as well as the view from our bedroom window . The Cabin is really quirky and cosy and has most things you would need . Alisdair was very helpful and there was good communication when we arrived . Would highly recommend. Would love to go back and enjoy the peace and quiet sometime .

Our three nights at Crowdy hall were absolutely fantastic. The cabin is perfect, cosy, clean, quirky, remote, beautiful views and everything you need for a bit of peace and quiet. The humans enjoyed the wood fired hot tub, outdoor cooking and the time to relax. I (Louis the lurcher) enjoyed the space, great dog walks and wildlife spotting. Very highly recommended.

We stayed in Cinnabar Nest, I have personally never stayed anywhere like it before and I have to say we couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more. It was so peaceful, so relaxing, was the perfect getaway to unwind after a busy week at work, the cabin was so cosy and just beautiful. I can’t thank Alasdair enough for being so informative, accommodating and I will definitely be recommending and returning! Thank you so much Crowdy Hall🫶🏻

We had a wonderful time staying in Pipistrelle this weekend! It was so peaceful (as far as other people are concerned) we did wake up at 5am to very noisy running sheep but if anything this was a bonus as they were adorable🤣🐑. Alasdair who communicated with us about our stay and Billy who welcomed us were both fantastic hosts and we wouldn't hesitate to book again. If you're looking for a getaway a little out of the ordinary this could definitely be the place for you.

Beautiful place to go a relax and take time away from all worries and stress from home would definitely recommend for people that want a quick weekend get away. Fantastic two night stay at Tawny Hide over Easter. It really was the ultimate place to relax! We had so much privacy which you just don’t seem to get at other places we have stayed. Alasdair was a great host, extremely informative & accommodating. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay & came away feeling incredibly refreshed!

Spent two nights in Tawny Hide and it was fabulous. It’s so peaceful and relaxing. Alasdair is a fantastic host and has thought of everything you could need in the cabin. I would go back in a heartbeat, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

What an experience.
Absolutely amazing. Having chosen to stop in tawny hide, it is an experience I would highly recommend that anyone that wants to take a break away from the stress of life and take time for themselves.
All of the equipment in the hide was exactly what was needed. And the owner Alasdair was extremely helpful.
I met Alastair on our arrival day and her was helpful with any questions and gave some very helpful suggestions with regards to our stay.
We fired up the hot tub on the second night and we were able to enjoy the sunset after a 3 and a half hour session of tending fore to heat it up.
We also brought our hyper energetic border collie with us who had the time of her life in the fields running about and watching the world go by.
I can't wait for our next chance to do this all again.
