Lovely pub! Decent selection of beers and lagers, friendly staff and knowledgeable barman with a dry sense of humour (the owner?)

Stunning location and glorious setting. The outdoor spaces are lovely and peaceful and the locals or regulars are friendly.

We didn't eat on this occasion but we glimpsed other folks' food and the menu looks great. Pretty sure we'll be back to try the fare soon!

A very pleasant evening drinking and chatting with friends was enhanced by this welcoming place.

Lovely lunch at this gastro pub. We were a large group and had the private room looking out to the gardens. Service was great. Food delicious. Lots of parking behind the pub in this pretty village

The Crown and Anchor is a true gem of a pub. Great staff, comfortable bar and excellent bar snacks. Situated in the heart of Ham, it serves excellent food in a great atmosphere. The smells from the cooking coming from the pass were fantastic. Cannot fault this place.

If I could give this lovely place a 10 I would! Exceptional staff/customer service, lovely food and great accommodation. We booked a return visit a few weeks ago (Feb 2025) for three nights. Unfortunately my husband had a nasty fall on the first night resulting in a visit to the Swindon ER department and an early departure back home to recouperate. Ben, the Manager, and the rest of the staff could not have been kinder, exceptionally caring or more helpful to both of us at this time. They went above and beyond to help out. We love it there and can't wait to return to complete our little holiday. Top notch accommodation, superb food and well placed for visiting lovely towns like Marlborough. Well done guys and thank you so much!

Had lunch here with a friend. The service was very friendly, the food good and tasty, and they were flexible to swap elements of the dish to suit my requirements. Would recommend if you are in the area.

A regular haunt, set in the beautiful village of Ham. Really cosy pub with excellent food and even better service! Rooms look amazing. Good parking facilities in the back, with charging points for EVs

Charming pub with beautifully decorated and cosy rooms and spacious bathrooms. Dog friendly. The food is absolutely outstanding, the portions perfectly sized. The area is nice with lots of walks around, just very muddy at this time of year (December) as expected. Will go back.
