We had a lovely 2 night stay here , very convenient for town centre and amenities. I had asked in a phone call before we went not to be too far from lift and our 2nd floor room super king premium stratford view with club lounge access was lovely. Quiet and a lovely size and a nice view, a lovely T.V and a fridge and all we needed.Staff at reception were friendly and welcoming as were all staff .Breakfast is delicious with lots of choices ,there is plenty of parking .This is our 2nd visit to this hotel and it wont be our last . We had a fabulous time so thank you to all staff for making it so

Good location - arrived to Stratford by train and spent the weekend walking around without issue. Checking in not the best - made to pay even though we had pre paid so then had to spend time sorting out a refund with the front desk. Sprawling building, rooms can be far from the lift. Room was what let the stay down - it was not cleaned well, not vacuumed at all, no water in the fridge or biscuits for the tea/coffee, one towel. Basically do not think it was actually serviced before our arrival. Breakfast was excellent and the bar is nice / stays open late on weekends. Service staff were good. Would not stay here again.

This was my 4th visit. This time with my son. ||||Checkin was great, busy weekend but team very pleasant helpful etc.||My IHG Diamond Elite status was recognised, the suite we occupied was beautifully appointed and most comfortable, clean and great amenities. ||||We are theatre fanatics (my entire family!) and went to RSC production. On our return, we enjoyed room service which was organised and delivered by Alice; she was most, warm and accommodating- we’d been unable to dine at the lovely hotel restaurant owing to the timing of theatre attendance.||||Although at capacity, service at hotel didn’t suffer! Many thanks to Brad, on reception for assistance and to Ryan for making great mocktails, delivered with a smile… also shout out to Woody for service of bar snacks.||||A lovely vibe in hotel; many events seemed to be being hosted. ||||Will definitely return… love hotel, the teams and location!

We stayed in Family room for 4 which was lovely and spacious. Our daughters were delighted they had their own sofa bed each! The staff on Reception and in the Bar where we ate food were all wonderful, very polite and helpful. All the beds were comfortable and the best hotel family room we have stayed in (even our daughters said it was the best hotel!) The food from light bites menu in the bar was really good and we all enjoyed what we ordered. We did find the bar are a little cold but we did stay on a very cold and frosty night and we were sat by the beautiful big windows overlooking the lovely terrace. The rest of the hotel was lovely, inviting and warm.

We loved the location of the hotel, being just a few minutes walk from the town centre and the canal/river area, perfect for families.

It's also great to be recognised for being a rewards member and we're delighted with little gift in the room, thank you for such a wonderful stay. We would definitely return if we were to visit the area again .

Initial impressions of this hotel are that it's out of date. The air system in our bedroom certainly was. However, after staying 2 nights we find the staff were exceptional. Attention to detail was faultless, and the hotel is spotless and comfortable.

Overall, I'd stay again without hesitation. Upgrade the bedroom air system and it would have been near perfect.

It's fairly clear where most of the margin is made at this place. The reception is palatial, the conference facilities are plentiful and the bar area is huge.||The rooms are large but awful. Genuinely the worst in Stratford-upon-Avon in a number of key areas. Thick net curtains with minimal opening curtains essentially means you feel more claustrophobic than you should in such a big room (certainly no issue with bed size, at least). ||The biggest gripe is the noise of the air conditioning. It's terrible, and if you're a light sleeper who doesn't use ear pods or earplugs, you're in for a rotten night's sleep with the toss up between a sore throat the next day or tiredness through interrupted sleep. ||The bathrooms are old and desperately need a refurb. A (rusting) bath with a shower attachment - come on, is this the 1980s? Pitiful water pressure, inadequate temperature - at least I could combine showering with exercise as I had to run around to get wet! ||Having done so I found that the cleaning options in the room were 4 bottles of hand gel and 1 conditioner. No shampoo. Thankfully some I may have acquired at another establishment and carried for emergency will at least mean as I'm yawning my way through meetings today my hair will at least be clean!

Lovely hotels & the breakfast is good too. However it’s worth finding out if there is any sort of convention on. There were two on the weekend that we stayed. This meant that the place was packed and because of the amount of people who were in the private function room, lots were spilling out into the main bar area where there was just not enough staff to cope on the evening. This left us waiting for ages to be served. Also, the “private seating area” which you get for booking certain rooms was left with dirty crockery piling up & rubbish left on the side.
This was all unfortunate as we have always enjoyed staying here.
We stayed in a premium room which was comfortable but definitely needed updating. The shower screen leaked at the bottom so the floor get very wet. The water pressure is really low so it was more of a sprinkle than a shower. The room had a generally tired look. Just needs updating (like the entrance hall) to fall in line with other hotels in the area.
Having said all that, it is still a nice hotel & the staff are very friendly. Just ask in advance of any parties or conventions that might be taking place before booking.

First time back to this hotel for a while, really liked the improvements and the fact the air con worked really well.

Have to complement the quality of the buffet snacks available in the club room, really high quality, and have to say this is the best we have had in this chain, well done.

The only downside and it's not the hotel's fault or the staff but couples with young children in the bar area left to run around and play with the furniture, running around people carrying drinks etc etc, spoilt the great atmosphere of the bar lounge.
