We stayed two nights in the cullantra B & B. We were great by Olive, she very kindly offered us tea and freshly baked cake on arrival. The food was delicious. Following morning we were offer a selection breakfast, starting with fruit smoothie, then granola and fresh yougurt, we choose from a choice menu and served hot to the table, Olive and James were fantastic hosts, and very polite and hospitable. Again when we returned to the we were kindly offered tea and cake again. The breakfast on the second morning, yet again was excellent, tasty and hot to the table. The house is very warm, cozy and rooms and bathroom was exceptionally clean and very fresh. Overall, the standard in the house was welcoming and very clean. Olive and James were exceptional host and we very much enjoyed our stay and we would recommend the Cullentra House. We will be returning in the near future.

After a long day of driving, what a relief to pull up to Cullentra House and immediately see that the reviews were right. Nestled in the Glens of Antrim, Cullentra House has views for miles and miles. Olive warmly greeted us, told us where to park, showed us to our spacious room, asked if there was anything we needed, all with a welcoming smile and manner. We selected our breakfast choices for the morning and then enjoyed our very clean room and bathroom. Immaculate. The beds were perfect. Not too hard, not too soft. After a great night’s sleep, we walked down the hallway to the smell of amazing home cooking. I have never in my life had a better piece of bread than Olive’s brown bread (her mother’s recipe). The first course of breakfast included a delicious homemade smoothie that went perfectly with the bread and yogurt and granola. Our breakfast choices included Monte Cristos and Avocado toast, both amazing. Olive warmly sent us on our way after breakfast to enjoy all the sights of the area. I give Cullentra House and Olive highest scores for location, hospitality, cleanliness, comfort, and delicious food. Thank you, Olive!

Omg this place was amazing! Very meticulously decorated and very clean, everything from the embroidered towels to the decorative china was spectacular! Olives home cooked breakfast was delicious but remember to ask for baby portions if you have a small stomach. Surrounding scenery also a must see. Thank you Olive!

We recently had the wonderful pleasure of spending an overnight in Cullentra House in Cushendall as part of a birthday treat. Not only was the location a wonderful setting with mountains, sea and countryside surrounding us, the warmth and hospitality shown to us from our hosts Olive and James, really set the tone for our stay. Even adding special little touches like a box of chocolates for my birthday and a pot of tea with home made cake, on our late arrival. The next morning, the wide selection of breakfast choices was very welcome and showcased Olive’s culinary skills (delicious). The craic at breakfast was just wonderful and great fun.
