The biggest bed in the world... or so it seemed at 2am when I got cramp and it took me ages to find my way to the edge. Pure class from arrival to departure. Fresh milk in the fridge on the landing rather than those pesky UHT cartons. Top notch crockery in the room (Emma Bridgewater mini mugs!) with associated teas, coffees and hot chocolate. A teapot too! We stayed as part of a wedding party and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast selection on both mornings was fantastic and my scrambled eggs on a toasted muffin were divine. The bacon and sausage gave me serious food envy for a nanosecond though. My (massive) bed was so very comfortable, the room airy and the bathroom spotless. In these days of cost-cutting it was reassuring to be in a place that obviously valued quality. Thank you Caroline and family.

Our happy and memorable weekend stay at Lodge Farm, Cundall, could not have been lovelier. We enjoyed everything, but especially Caroline’s home-made jams, granola and flapjacks, as well as her hearty, healthy breakfasts. We loved the luxury and elegance of the large bedrooms and airy bathrooms with views across pretty countryside to the White Horse of Kilburn. Outside the farmhouse the setting is peaceful and rural and the gardens are charming. The traditional out-buildings have been converted to a beautiful wedding venue, well managed and designed by Caroline’s family. The bustling and historic town of Thirsk is about 8 miles away. We plan to return.

We spent 2 nights at this lovely farmhouse b & b. Views are wonderful, Caroline is a welcoming and charming host. Very clean and excellent Covid measures taken. Lovely toileteries and tea/coffee tray in the bedroom. Excellent breakfasts that will set you up for the day.||||Caroline helpfully booked dinner at nearby pubs/restaurants for us, she could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Would highly recommend a stay.

We stayed three nights in this glorious Yorkshire farmhouse and it couldn't have been a better one. Caroline is a generous, welcoming host who provides a magnificent breakfast with choices of all sorts and gives full information about local things to do. The house is beautiful and immaculately clean with comfortable beds and lots of goodies in the bedrooms. We couldn't recommend a stay more highly.

Oh what a lovely place to stay. Me and my family stayed at the B&B for two nights over our wedding. The place is so cute and Caroline really couldn’t do more for you! The breakfast was divine and she was so chilled about breakfast after the wedding which I was very appreciative of. We would 100% recommend staying at Lodge Farm. Thank you so much <3

I've just enjoyed two nights at Caroline's fantastic farm with a friend and two 60 year old motorbikes. Space in a garage for the bikes overnight was no problem at all and our rooms were wonderful. Everywhere is spotless and the Covid measures are thorough yet unobtrusive. The breakfasts were excellent, made with great care and a fine way to start each day of riding around the most beautiful Yorkshire scenery.||The welcome and hospitality are both warm and sincere, this is certainly a B&B you'll want to visit again.||Thank you Caroline.

Stayed here for a couple of nights on a trip. Though arriving late, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are immaculate, very clean with comfy beds and everything anyone could need. Absolutely unpretentious, and carried off with great style. Stupendous breakfasts with a lovely view over the farm to Sutton Bank and the White Horse.

A beautiful & comfortable farm B&B in a country setting, with easy access to tour York. Our 2nd visit and we were delighted once again by the warm and helpful hosts. They made us feel like old friends! Delicious meals, and such a stunning, tastefully decorated home, with breathtaking views from every window. Highly recommend.
