I came here with my sister for a 5 day break with Buckleys holidays. We had a very comfortable triple room (for 2). Bathroom was small but functional. Not many plug sockets but we made it work. The hotels decor is a little worn and could do with a spruce up. However, the food was amazing, the staff in the dining room polite and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. Staff on reception also very polite. In the evening there were lots of places to sit if you are not over keen on the entertainment. Not my thing but I know all my coach party loved it. Phil was the highlight of the bar, such a character and obviously loves what he does. It was a very enjoyable holiday.

Just returned from a 5 day holiday with Buckleys. Was wary to begin with after reading some reviews but I’m pleased I still booked as we had an excellent holiday. The hotel s clean, spacious and staff very pleasant. I’d like to particularly mention our waiter for the time we were there. Ryan was so entertaining and nothing was too much trouble for him. Also I need to mention Phil in the bar. He made everyone feel at home and certainly knew how to entertain. He made our evenings pleasurable. Thank you

Wonderful hotel. Fantastic staff. Food was delicious and the waiting service was excellent.
Great entertainment and bingo every night.
Room was clean.
The WiFi was the only let down.
Great location. On our free day the beach is just a short walk away as is the high street and there is a bus stop right outside the hotel.
Definitely will come again,

Another great Daish’s break. Very lucky with the weather. Hotel and our room were excellent. The staff were always cheerful and the food was delicious and varied. Entertainment was good. The driver, Jennifer was wonderful. Will definitely return soon.

Had a lovely 4 night stay at Daishs shanklin. ||The hotel is dated but you get what you pay for and we had no complaints ||We upgraded to a superior room. Not sure what you get extra for a superior but was clean and had everything we needed. Room was cleaned every day. Public areas were also very clean and tidy.||Food was very tasty, especially breakfast. ||Evening entertainment consisted of a cryptic quiz, bingo and an entertainer. Thoroughly enjoyed this, although feet ached with all the dancing. ||The staff couldn’t do enough for you and were always friendly and welcoming. I would normally give a shout out to members of staff who have gone the extra mile. But as they don’t wear name badges so can’t do on this occasion. | |Will definitely return

First time with daishis but not the last very impressed with the hotel greeted before we even got off the coach and well informed throughout our stay Our room was spacious and spotless with comfy beds.The food gave everyone a good choice and was hot and fresh .The service in the restaurant was efficient and very friendly.A most enjoyable break and will definitely recommend and book many more breaks to enjoy as much as this hotel.

Bus tour via Strathmore Travel from Scotland with my sister. Danish hotel staff were mostly very nice at reception and bar but the guy who opened restaurant at breakfast and evening was very disrespectful. We had to wait outside restaurant until he opened the door it was likened to being back at school by his manner and language used. The rooms were filthy and had to be re cleaned by domestic supervisor see pictures of quality of rooms.
