Lovely, a d from our perception, a family run outfit? Food made freshly to order, so expect to wait around 10mins for your food to arrive. Sandwiches we had were presently nicely and delicious. There was an incident where i knocked my entire drink over, and they replaced it without charge or quibble (i'm more than fine paying for my own clumsiness!), i apologised for mess i made and felt obigated to clear it up myself. It was met with light humour and no drama or further embarrassment to me. Your selection of beverages and spirits i saw behind the counter showed the good taste you have. Excellent people and service.

I got takeaway from here to try it out, as I'm sick of there only being kebabs and pizzas to order in the area. I got a marg pizza, beef giros, and loaded fries. I will 100 percent order this again. The beef was so tender and beautifully cooked and seasoned, the salad and coleslaw were so fresh I wouldn't be surprised if they grew it themselves. The bread on this was so fresh and chewy, and so thick! I split everything with my bf and we were both stuffed. The pizza base is delicious, best in town, the tomato sauce is also really nice. Generally I hate it but the flavour of it is like nothing else. Lastly the loaded fries, the pepperoni was CRISPY! Usually with loaded fires its just sort of chucked on, but they were crispy, the onions were so flavourful, the chips were cooked to perfection (and are those V shaped chips too so extra crisp!). They had cheese and (i think) a cheese sauce, if it was a sauce I'd like more of it! There was also LOADS of cheese. Really impressed and I think I've found my new regular takeaway. Prices are old school prices. 5er for a big box of loaded fries (newhaven kebab charge 7.50 for a cheesy chips), 9 quid for a pizza that was ACTUALLY decent sized, and 11 for the beef giros which I'm 99 percent sure was a steak chopped up.
10/10.

Popped in for Lunch today; delicious food - my children said it was the best pizza they had ever eaten and the chicken gyro was Devine. A new favourite place ☺️

Had a tea, and a pastry, much needed after walking from Peacehaven.
A charming little restaurant with a good variety of food and cake for consumption.
Sofas to relax on at the rear

A very lovely little cafe with baked goods, that are also suitable for vegans.
We asked for an iced chocolate instead of a hot chocolate and I highly recommend, that you add it to your selection of drinks. Thanks for creating this for us! It was so needed in this very warm day.

Had the most gorgeous breakfast in this little gem of a cafe! Full breakfast and it was just so yummy 😋 real butter on bread, plenty of it. The sausage was so tasty as was everything else. Staff were welcoming and super friendly. We left with two bits of bread pudding to eat on the journey and a loaf of sourdough. If we go back to Saltdean one day we will definitely be having breakfast here 😁🥰
