An amazing house with fantastic facilities. Great location, lovely surroundings and friendly locals.
The house itself is modern yet has a personality.
The fact that it has the BBQ shed and hot tub sets it apart from other properties, beds were comfortable and everything was clean.

I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Our 3rd stay at the Shambles and love it here. The house has everything you need, in a great location for exploring and a wonderful garden. The kids love it here. A home from home with a lot more. Erin and Nick were fabulous as always, very quick to respond to any queries and always very helpful and friendly. We always use Igloo for our Aviemore trips 🙂

We had a fantastic weekend away with friends at The Shambles. It is a really good size and great for the kids - plenty of room for chilling out together and for the kids to explore. It has a lovely kitchen for cooking meals together and the garden has a hot tub and a great barbecue hut with outdoor seating. We really loved the extra thoughtful touches - especially the welcome basket with baking and colouring for the kids. Such a thoughtful idea. Nick and Erin at Igloo were fantastic from start to finish and we will definitely be booking again soon!

The house was perfect for a family holiday. Everything you need to make the stay enjoyable was provided. The garden is both child and dog friendly. The booking/payment was seamless with any queries answered promptly. The hot tub, BBQ hut and play house we’re a great bonus.

Stayed here for 4 nights to celebrate my wife’s 60th birthday along with grandkids. The house is very large and comfortable and well located at the edge of town. We particularly liked using the hot tub especially when it was snowing heavily. House itself was well equipped and with top quality appliances . Log burning stoves on both levels which was welcome as it was extremely cold outside. Quirky furnishings throughout the house which made it more homely. We will certainly try and return to this property as we all enjoyed it. Worth mentioning Erin for her help during the booking process and welcome when we arrived.

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Shambles very much and would love to visit again at some time. The house is very spacious and well equipped with everything that we needed. Thank you for the welcome pack and doggy bonus. There are a few areas such as the rear garden which need a wee bit of TLC, however, appreciate the current challenges. We loved everything that the Aviemore area had to offer. Thank you so much

House was in an excellent position with the Strathspey Way almost on the doorstep. Appliances were top quality and the hot tub and barbecue hut were great. Rooms are spacious. Only downside was that maintenance was a bit poor - a few lights not working, bits of the decking broken, gutters on the upstairs decking blocked with moss and dandelions. Despite this we had a wonderful week here

We had a fantastic stay at The Shambles. The house was in a great location for exploring Aviemore. House was in a clean condition and all rooms were excellent. We loved using the hot tub and hobbit house.
