Daniel's Kitchen - Private Chef - Truro

Daniel was booked to cook a celebration dinner for my husband's 70th birthday. Just over a week before the booking date there had not been a satisfactory verbal discussion of the menu between myself and Daniel and by this stage I had lost all confidence in Daniel's competence, certainly from a customer care perspective and felt compelled to cancel. The reply I received was an unbelievable "lol ok perfect"! One response to a text I sent requesting Daniel to contact me verbally was he was going to watch football and couldn't talk!

After some inappropriate, unprofessional text messages but with no apology for my concerns, Daniel texted on more than one occasion that my deposit would be returned, in accordance with his Terms & Conditions. There has been no payment into my account, despite his assurances that the money had been sent.

I have not had replies from my texts or phone calls enquiringly about the money he owes me. I therefore have no choice but to post this comment to let others know the dishonesty of this chef. I would not recommend Daniel Kerr of Daniel's Kitchen to anyone looking for a private chef.
