Room basic but clean. Accessible room had good accessible bathroom but no accessibility aids in bedroom. Ground floor room experienced machinery-type noise (not car noise!) outside window for some of night. No breakfast available - had to walk across to the Roadchef to buy breakfast at Costa, Leon or McDonald's, or drive further afield.

We stayed here recently on the way back from a trip to France. The staff were brilliant and couldn't be more helpful. The room was clean and tidy. Unfortunately various lorries parked out the back of our room and kept running their engines so we had to sleep with the window closed. But it was great value and clean.

Stayed for one night whilst travelling to Dover. Excellent location for the Dover, person at reception was excellent and the hotel is very reasonably priced, the rooms are also a good size. However cheap tend to be used frequently and the rooms are tired and in need of renovation, especially the bathroom. We arrived late and accepted whatever room we were given. Our room was directly above reception, which has a automatic door, I am a decent sleeper, however even I could not sleep with that door opening and closing through most of the night. The hotel is in close proximity to the services which sounds good, however the services appear to get stocked up early in the morning which further wakes you up. I am in two minds on whether or not I would stay at this hotel again, there are several other similar type hotels in the area and I would probably give them ago. My only advice would be, do not accept any room which is in immediate proximity to the reception.

Only stayed for one night. I checked in, etc, got in the shower, and almost burnt myself. There was no cold water. After washing in the sink and getting dressed, I went down to let the lady at reception know. She came upstairs to my room to check it out. After trying to turn the thermostate tap, which was tight, the water was still too hot. She did offer me another room, but as I was already washed and was only staying for one night, I said it's not worth it as it was too much upheaval. She didn't offer me any sort of refund. Your checks are supposed to be done before guests check in.

Its just tired. Great for an overnight stop before heading off on Euroatunnel. Rooms are dated and just need a bit of TLC. Friendly staff and no issues with service

It's a budget price, so expecting four star decor or down pillows would be silly. That said, all the essential facilities are in place. A large room that was clean was my first impression. There were no extra blankets, but the heating controls worked well, so that wasn't an issue. There were additional pillows, a hairdryer, kettle, lights in the right places..so yes, it was good value. The bath was old, with over-bath shower, but adequate. There's no in-house restaurant or cafe, but Costa, Leons and McDonlads are yards away. A £10 voucher is available at reception, on payment of £7.50.||||For the price paid for an overnight stop, this worked well. If you want more overall comfort, pay more elsewhere.

Basic but comfy. Friendly staff.
Not crazy about my room. Dark. Had to have lights on all the hime. Better rooms available but not given one initially. Not sure why.

showers were lukewarm, then cold after about a minute. lovely receptionist gave us the bathroom in a room next door to use for showers instead, bless. the water also went cold before i finished washing my hair. costa/mcdo/leon/whsmith next door, but not actually 'hot breakfast available' as advertised. ideal for an overnight stay if on the road, but not more than that.
