Lovely hotel - beautiful grounds and staff are lovely too. Service was great esp front of house/reception.

We had a Suite and a Standard Double Room with Lake View. Both rooms were great with excellent views of the lake. The suite was definitely worth it, with a fair amount of space as well.

Only negative was the Pizza we had (room service - Margarita) was terrible. Never have we had such a tasteless pizza, so not really sure about the food at the property overall.

But apart from that, everything else was excellent

Booked a 2 night spa treat! Emily greeted us and outlined our itinerary. Dinner at the Old Boathouse both nights was very good. The pool has lots of facilities and the spa treatments were excellent. Lovely lake view room. Breakfast very good with great coffee and choice. What makes this place is the staff, everyone was so friendly!!

Lovely place and a particularly helpful receptionist Caitlin who ensured that we had a good accessible room but which like so many has a very heavy entry door which needs power assisting( and doesn't have it). The wet shower room was excellent but apparently many accessible rooms have a low bath which is rarely of benefit to people needing such rooms.
The deluxe room with access to the decking by the water was very pleasant but the outside chairs are very rickety and need replacing. They feel like they could collapse on you at any time.
The Boathouse restaurant was also nice but unfortunately didn't serve pizzas on Sunday night but had traditional roasts - a bit surprising as it's advertised as an Italian restaurant! Caitlin again very helpful as she took us there in a golf buggy. Thank you Caitlin.

We recently took our family to CWP to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary.
Top marks to the housekeeping, reception and bar staff. We were fortunate to have 3 rooms overlooking the lake as we booked well in advance. Our room was a deluxe with a balcony and beautiful views, the downside was that it only had one arm chair and a dressing table chair, so you couldn’t watch TV unless you sat on the bed, the bathrooms were small, especially the bath and very outdated, walk in showers would be an asset. One of our family rooms had beautiful floor to ceiling windows whilst the other had a window more the size of a port hole, which is a shame when there are such beautiful views. Breakfast was amazing, everything you could wish for, good quality and well presented. We were not impressed by either the Boat House or Brasserie restaurants but top marks for Sunday Lunch in the Boat House, staff friendly and helpful. We would return.

Stayed here for a conference. The hotel is perfect for these events. The rooms are well appointed and the view is amazing. Only downside was the room was very warm at night, even with the fan and window open. Would probably benefit from air conditioning.

Staff were all very friendly, and happy to help. Conference facilities were also great.

I ate in the brasserie in the conference centre and the buffet lunches and breakfasts were both pretty good quality.

Our grown up children bought us a night away as a treat after I had spent four months thus far recovering from a serious leg injury. They booked an accessible room so that I could shower in safety and comfort. On arrival we were greeted warmly by Evie who gave us information regarding the spa and amenities. Our room was 104 just off the main corridor from reception. It was brilliantly equipped for a non able person. The wet room bathroom was well appointed with safety features and exceptionally clean. Penhaligon toiletries supplied. The bedroom was large with a super king bed, again safety aspects including a call button next to the bed for emergencies. The outside balcony had a ramp to one side..I’m sure if reception were called they would move it across to the door for wheelchair access. The door didn’t stay open so we propped it open with a chair. |We had booked dinner in the brasserie but received an email saying due to lack of customers our booking had been moved to the old boathouse. This wasn’t a problem to us until we went to go in my wheelchair and discovered no dropped kerbs on the pathway so had to go in the road. Such a shame that thought hadn’t been given to that side of paths. The meal at the old boathouse was excellent. Served by a very professional and genial lady called Liv. We ordered pizzas and they were enormous. we were on the dinner bed and breakfast deal and allocated Ā£30 per person but we couldn’t quite manage pudding after the pizzas! A lovely place to sit looking at the lake.|Breakfast was excellent. Having read reviews commenting it was not so good, we were prepared for fhe worst but our experience couldn’t have been better. Lots of choices, hot buffet was very good and the food piping hot. Attentive staff again who helped with clearing away without being intrusive.|We didn’t use the spa so can’t comment on that. We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay break and would go back so that we could explore Cirencester more as didn’t get a chance this time due to immobility. |Staff were professional and attentive. There were a lot of business people sitting in the lounge bar tapping away on computers and this hotel is obviously used by business folk as at breakfast most tables were occupied by the same.

Stayed here for a short getaway for 5 days. A great hotel, all staff were very good and professional. Spa and health facilities were brilliant and the location is fantastic. The Cotswolds is a stunning area. ||When the room was cleaned it was done to a very good standard. If I was to make any minor gripes, it would be the bed is very very firm, and if you have an electric car like we do, the charge of £5 per hour is somewhat excessive to charge although the staff did acknowledge this and very helpfully said there are public charging points in the far end car park which are normal cost. We used those instead with no issues at all.||Those minor mentions aside, it's not enough to knock the hotel down, it's absolutely a five star place and we will most certainly return in future.

We stayed at this hotel in February for my birthday, and let’s just say, they knew how to make a guest feel special—free room upgrade with a stunning lake view? Yes, please! The room itself was spotless and cozy, though the bathroom could have used a little extra TLC.||Despite the hotel being busy due to a conference, the service remained top-notch. I can only imagine how breathtaking this place must be in the summer, definitely worth a return visit.||Breakfast was an absolute win, great value for money with an impressive selection. ||The only real head-scratcher? Being charged Ā£10 to use the spa facilities as a hotel guest. That’s like paying extra for WiFi on a long-haul flight—it just feels wrong. The locals at the gym weren’t exactly rolling out the welcome mat either. One even let me know (rather pointedly in the changing room) that their membership costs a fortune, and they weren’t thrilled about hotel guests using their facilities. Awkward.
