Sort of dog friendly. Very limited dining available if you have a dog, and we couldn't attend the event we'd come for despite it being in a private event space. Good breakfast. Staff were always friendly and helpful. The reception, dining rooms and bars were beautifully appointed with lots of original features. Room was tired, we had no fridge for the dog food. Dog bed was far too small, bring your own for a dog spaniel sized or lager. Nice little patio area outside and a paw wash out front. The bed was very firm and uncomfortable. Lovely walk further down the road near the far end of the lake. Lake only open 1st Sunday of every month. The EV chargers were incredibly slow, didn't get a full charge through 3pm to 8am.

Second visit to Tortworth, this time was so much better than the last. We were upgraded by a really helpful receptionist. We had the most beautiful suite! We recommend room 80! It was my partner’s 30th birthday and we were welcomed by a lovely personalised chocolate bar. Only negative was the staff in the Atrium bar. Apart from one guy who I presume is supervisor (he had loads of pens in back pocket) the others seemed disinterested and as if we was a bother. We also ate here and would choose the 1853 restaurant over this as we are there last year but at least we know now. Wasn’t bad but it’s more casual simple food. |Enjoyed an incredible massage the next day by the lovely Tallie. She was fab and so friendly. Breakfast was also really tasty with so much choice! All still hot and seemed fresh. Thank you for a lovely stay and we will see you this time next year. Made it our new tradition to come every year for my partners birthday.

Booked a night away here for my boyfriends birthday and we had a lovely stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Natasha, in particular, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and Sam at reception was friendly and efficient. ||The pool and other facilities were fantastic, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time. The hotel is set in a beautiful location with stunning scenery, which really added to the overall experience. The Atrium Bar team were on point and made sure our glasses were never empty! ||I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning!

Fabulous hotel, full of character in the original building, the wings, though, are more modern but really well appointed. The spa is lovely. Food is good but on the expensive side, but to be expected. Service on the whole is good. The housekeeping team seem to let the place down. Spotted most of them on their phones rather than working. Our room was cleaned one morning , but the bed left unmade. The restaurant serves nice food, although the menu is small. We stayed 3 nights and ate out the third night due to the limited choice.

Wow... in 2019 we were married at the De Vere Beaumont Estate it was amazing, for our 6th Wedding Anniversary We found another Amazing De Vere ..Tortworth court .. ||From pulling up outside we were delighted , the grounds and hotel are stunning . We were greeted at reception by a lovely lady who explained everything ❤️. We had afternoon tea in the 1853 resturant, and met the most lovely restaurant manager called Flo ...now Flo if your reading this you really made our trip for us , kind caring energetic and so lovely to chat too, but you know I promised I would out you on social media ..Please go and get your knee replaced ..you will be so much better off. Back to the stay , we had a wonderful 1st afternoon with too much champagne the a workout in the outdoor gym thinking we were 20 again 😀 I'm 55 adam 52 no spring chickens and I'm 9 weeks post knee replacement. A lovely meal in the evening and a huge breakfast in bed the next day before our spa day.. I honestly can say what a beautiful hotel and a beautiful stay we had but the highlight for us was Flo .. she really is an asset to The De Vere collection . Thank you to everyone ho made our anniversary amazing

Situated in beautiful grounds with some unspoilt views. Room had all we needed including an exceptionally comfortable bed! Staff were friendly and helpful. Ate in Bistro and had Breakfast, both very nice. Swimming pool was a little chilly but the hotel itself and room were both a little too warm, so it was a good way to cool down 😊

I had a lovely stay at De Vere Tortworth Estate Hotel. The service was fantastic, and everything was well taken care of. A special mention to Susan at reception; she was incredibly helpful in arranging a taxi for me to get back home. The process was quick and efficient, making my departure smooth and stress-free. I truly appreciate the excellent hospitality and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-organised stay.

Really nice hotel, very posh! Was extremely busy there and the check in queue was very long. If you book on booking.com you cannot check in until 4, which is quite late considering the cost of the stay, you also have to book to use the spa, by the time we went to book after checking in they only had 7pm available which was a bit late, but at that time it was empty in there which was nice. The rooms are lovely! Very clean and comfy! The hotel itself is very decorative in the restaurant and the foyer, its pretty. The breakfast was lovely and despite the reviews saying you have to book, you do not, it was empty when we got there at about half 8.
Overall the hotel is nice, but extremely expensive and some parts of it need updating.
