I am very happy with my experience here. Me and my partner had an overnight spa break with breakfast and dinner.||1. Pillows and bed were super comfortable!||2. Breakfast and dinner were yummy, with a lot of variety. The staff provided a cute birthday message for my partner too with our dessert.||3. My spa treatment was amazing, I had the back ritual with facial and scalp massage with a therapist named Timea, she was such a lovely and welcoming person who provided an excellent treatment. ||4. The hotel reception were excellent and accommodating, and allowed us to have a later check out time. ||Me and the partner have had a lovely experience here and would definitely consider returning in the future.

Cheltenham Chase is an excellent hotel in a quiet location away from traffic and city congestion. Our room was spacious and nicely appointed. The breakfast buffet was well managed and offered good selections. We ate dinner in the restaurant nightly and were pleased with the quality and quantity of food served. We were especially impressed with the thorough and very thoughtful service at the main hotel desk. On the day we were leaving after a 3-night stay, we had concerns about turning in our rental car to the location of the agency, quite a way from town in the country. We needed to drop the car early on Saturday morning and then taxi to the Cheltenham train station. We were not even sure the rental agency would be open in time for us to make our train connection. COURTNEY at the main desk at the hotel was extremely thorough in helping us make our arrangements to drop off the car and get a taxi. She even gave us her personal phone number, promising that if we could not find the agency open and ready for business, she would call a taxi to pick us up at the car rental office. She went out of her way to ensure that our morning plans would not be spoiled by unanticipated problem. The world of hospitality needs more Courtneys to take care of the myriad and varied needs of harried travelers. I would return to the Cheltenham Chase any time I am ready to revisit the Cotswolds.

Just spent 4 nights at the hotel together with 38 others in a coach party. Reception was good , room enormous, bed clean and comfortable. Leisure facilities were good , swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna all used and enjoyed. All staff very friendly and helpful.|However , even with pre ordered evening meals, the restaurant service was poor. The staff serving the food were trying hard but on two occasions it took over two hours to complete the meal. There seemed to be little planning on how to handle 38 meals at once and the flow of meals from the kitchens was very inconsistent - on our table of five there were who three finished the main course before the other two were even served. Fifteen minute gaps between courses another issue.|It may be that there is a good service for smaller groups but the management need to sort out their organisation in the restaurant for large groups. If this is sorted I would happily revise the review to 4.5

The hotel was a great location for our needs. The rooms were a good size and the beds were very comfy. The meals that we had were good. We also enjoyed the pool and spa, it was very relaxing. Top marks must go to the staff, they were fantastic, helpful and friendly.

Everything was great apart from the room servicing which fell below expected standards.

On one occasion during the stay, we found our room was entered and serviced in spite of the Do Not Disturb hanging up at the time of leaving the room. When we did actually want the room cleaned, it was not done properly (eg used cup not removed, sheets crinkled, shower bottle not refilled, etc).

Relatively minor as this was only a short stay.

Location is convenient (if you drive) and car park is good.

Hands down best massage I’ve had! Myself and my partner went as a birthday treat. Our therapists were Timea and Mollie and we picked the revitalisation treatment. We were both very very happy with our treatment and the service. Personally I have an allergy to nuts and Timea and Mollie were both very careful from the get go about which products to use and checking with me if a product is okay before using it. This was very reassuring and massively helped with being able to relax and enjoy the experience. Would 100% recommend this Spa!

We had such a lovely experience from this hotel we cant wait to come back |Lovely clean rooms , really enjoyed the treatments and had a swim in the pool |Check in was fast and smooth , gave us a lot of information surrounding the hotel |timings etc |Restaurant staff were lovely at breakfast and dinner |You have a great team !!| It made out stay memorable

Cannot fault the location ,very good atmosphere and clean. My only fault I could see the staffing levels were low so problems occurred at breakfast time. Coffee machine kept failing and orange juice container was usually empty and milk jugs too. The staff tried very hard to keep people happy.. on our penultimate night they decided to wash the seating in the restaurant. Unfortunately when it came to our evening meals , we appeared to have very wet seats. Our compensation was a free glass of wine the next evening. All in all the stay was good and would still recommend you give it a try.
