Lovely hotel. Staff were so friendly from check in to check out. The restaurant was really nice - lovely decor and the food excellent. Pricey menu but the set menu was reasonable and the food delicious. Again staff were brilliant. We stayed in a suite which was huge! Beautiful views of the gardens and the room was spotless. Bed comfy and plenty of pillows. Bathroom needs an upgrade but was clean and the shower was decent. All the amenities in the room were of a high standard. Our stay really surpassed our expectations and we’ll be back. It was fab.

An interesting place. In some respects it was good. Some staff were excellent, some felt they were more important than anyone else. Some of the views and grounds were fantastic, some spaces rather ordinary.||The restaurant is wildly overpriced with acceptable food but 30% more expensive than it should be. Extremely poor portion sizes of nothing more than acceptable quality. I ate at medlar in London in the summer and paid only a little more for three courses of near Michelin standard. This was slightly posh pub grub at best. ||Breakfast was of a decent standard, the cooked was quite reasonable in fact. Ran out of croissants etc during our stay though.||The pool and sauna were decent though starting to be dated around the pool edge.||Rooms are moderate 4* standard. Duvets quite thin for this time of year.||On balance the room wasn’t too expensive so probably ok. ||Three out of five is about right.||If you come in the summer, a walk down to Roe Green Cricket Club would be recommended if you like that kind of thing.

Family of 4 staying 1 night before Manchester airport departure. ||We went on the kids eat free package and booked directly through marriott site. £177||Restaraunt was excellent - the chef really knows what he's doing. Probably the best "chain" hotel meal we've had. Scallops /steak / burgers all very good. Prices as you'd expect, but quality exceeded expectations||Our kids normally protest at having to eat off the kids menu, but the F&C and chicken strips did the job, puddings also good. ||Wine options good and not too expensive.||Bar OK (staff good), general facilities very good. car parking OK, location good. ||Pool was nice, jacuzzi big and warm, sauna and steam both just right. Changing rooms good, all clean enough.||We'd definitely stay here again.

Beds were very comfortable. Excellent food and drink choices at breakfast. Convenient parking but sometimes took a short while to find a space. Room window view was fine.||Upon arrival we were asked "Do you want your room serviced?" An odd question for a 4 star hotel. Even though we said Yes, the room was not serviced. We then had to go to reception to ask for it to be serviced; the room was then serviced but the door had been left open -I've never had that happen in fifty years of travel -fortunately none of our belongings had been stolen.||Room was fairly clean but somewhat drab looking, and the pictures on the wall were weird -even disturbing.||Breakfast room staff were excellent but some reception staff were lacklustre and needed better training. One young lady referred to me as "this guy".||A previous reviewer said Don't stay at this Hotel unless you are playing golf -I would go with that. Another reviewer remarked This Hotel thinks it's better than it is -I would agree with that also.

I recently attended a wedding fair at a Delta Hotel, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, the event was meticulously organized and showcased everything a couple could need for their big day. It was a wonderful way to engage with the guests and offer practical advice in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Overall, the wedding fair at the Delta Hotel was an incredible experience. It was evident that the hotel is deeply committed to making weddings as special and stress-free as possible. Stayed here for 2 nights. Lauren on reception was a star sorting out & joining up our two reservations. I asked about access to the fridge (thinking it was in the vented cupboard under the kettle and just needed to be unlocked!) and some fresh milk for coffee, she said she’d sort it. Not long later a lovely gent arrived with a fridge and set it up in the corner -(the cupboards don’t have fridges in anymore!) Then another young lad arrived with a huge jug of milk enough to make coffee for a month!||The bed was super comfy and the desk was huge to be able to do some work. ||I also used the spa, Gemma is an amazing reflexologist - highly recommend booking in for a treatment. ||Pool, sauna and steam room are all really clean and great too. ||Overall a great stay.

Excellent spa treatment, spa and gym staff were very helpful and accommodating. Rooms were great size and lovely and clean. Bed very comfy. No robes in room. Bar staff were great and good selection of food and cocktail options, which were all great.

Booked in for a full body massage, use of the pool & facilities + a prosecco afternoon tea with my sister in law for her birthday. ||We had a wonderful experience, both feeling very relaxed after a perfect massage. Robe towel and slippers provided, free lockers, hairdryers plus quality toiletries in a decent shower. ||Very clean all round, nice atmosphere and plenty going on. Great for people watching with some familiar places around too.||Spa space was nice and relaxing with complementary water tea and coffee whilst you wait. Treatment room was gently lit and the products were Elemis. Masseuse was friendly and told me everything she was doing and delivered a deep massage working out plenty of knots.||Afternoon tea in the Cow & Grill was fantastic. Done a separate review for that:)
