We received a huge welcome from Sara and Kevin and we immediately felt like family. The hotel, bedrooms, breakfast room, lounge and the unexpected private bar were first class. We stayed for five nights and could not have been happier. The breakfasts were cooked to perfection, with a good variety of choices and the coffee was sensational. Our time with Sara and Kevin was an absolute highlight of our time in the UK.

What do you look for with somewhere to stay on a holiday. We look for cleanliness, friendliness with easy access to places to visit. The Denewood fits the bill in all aspects. Our room has everything we need, our hosts Kevin and Sarah are not only welcoming but go over and above their desire for you to enjoy your holiday. Friendly, comfortable, clean, convenient and relaxing - this was my second stay and even before I booked I knew there was no need to consider anywhere else. The owners make their guests so welcome, it almost seems like a home from home. Breakfast was excellent, the room was spacious, and there is even a comfortable bar should guests want to imbibe while not venturing out. And, should you want to go out, the sea front is just a couple of minutes walk away while most of Sandown’s shops and other attraction are hardly much further. There’s a bus stop just moments away and the Island Line train station is a ten minute walk. The room I stayed in had everything I needed, including little extras such as a mini fridge. So, when I say I don’t consider anywhere else in Sandown, I mean it and next time I’m on the Isle of Wight I’ll be staying again.

The Denewood Hotel gave me one of the best hotel experiences I'll probably ever have. The combination of excellent service, Sara and Kevin being some of the kindest people on the planet and the beautiful location guarantees a lovely stay!||I stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks while working on the island and had a great time at this hotel. Sara and Kevin aim to make you feel at home and do not disappoint. They are always happy to help, accommodating in breakfast wishes and are lovely to talk to whilst having a drink at the bar with the other guests. A clean & well maintained hotel, a few minutes walk from the beautiful Sandown beach. Our bedroom was comfortable & well stocked, with anything we needed. ||Sara & Kevin are wonderful hosts, who offer a warm welcome, and their staff are friendly and helpful.||It is a great place to stay for exploring the Isle of Wight.

I have just had the pleasure of a long weekend with Kevin and Sara. The hotel was above my expectations and i shall definitely be returning. Clean, comfortable and a lovely little bar and garden. Situated 5 minutes from the beach and seafront. Well worth a visit.

Kevin and sara were amazing hosts with a lovely hotel. Room was perfect and loved the touch of chocolates every day on the bed. Breakfast was great and nothing was too much trouble. What a fantastic Hotel, with Kevin and Sara such welcoming hosts.|Everything and everywhere spotlessly clean. Kevin even found a restaurant which had available table for our evening meal.
