On first impression, it's gorgeous and luxurious!

But the attention to detail fails it. The room had dusty light shades and mould spots in the bathroom. Carpet were grubby and need attention. Curtain pole missing parts.
The bedding was clean but didn't fit the bed. The person who had made the bed needs some training and guidance. Cleaning is obviously not their strength.

Reception was only manned when we arrived, they showed us to our room and told us about the bar area. After requesting to book breakfast. There were no time slots until 9.45.
So, no breakfast for us.
Parking was very limited and disorganised. Having to reverse onto a roundabout is ideal.

We feel if the attention to detail was looked at, this would have been 5 stars across the board.

Value for money: There are better hotels in the area, and that is not a BB.

Derby Manor in Bournemouth is a cozy place with exceptional service. What impressed me the most was the receptionist, Roksana, who welcomed me and my friends in such a way that we truly felt at home. The breakfast was great, and the atmosphere throughout our stay was fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a warm, friendly environment and excellent hospitality!

We had decided at the very last minute to take a trip to Bournemouth to celebrate our Birthdays and were so pleased to have found Derby Manor. As it was a very quiet time of year, we were pleasantly upgraded to a beautiful room with a spa bath and walk in wardrobe. It was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed in. We had a great night sleep and the breakfast is superb. The decor within Derby Manor is so elegant and feels very luxurious. There is an inviting lounge where guests are welcome to relax along with complimentary coffee, tea and biscuits available. A special mention goes out to Amelia, the lovely receptionist who checked us in. She was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. We just simply did not want to leave this beautiful manor and would definitely love to come back and stay again another time!

Second time staying here. We were fortunate enough to get a room upgrade which was really big and comfortable. Breakfast is pretty good but the full English is small ,only one sausage,one slice of bacon .Would have expected more .

Outstanding place! |My husband booked for a birthday/ anniversary present for me. I was delighted with the whole place. The staff were so friendly, the room was amazing and the food was really good too. ||We stayed in the Gold Cup room, which was their top room and I was so pleased with it.

A really great find and a short walk to the beach. Rooms were great, and the service too. The only negative is the bar and lounge close at 10 p.m.

You also need to book a specific time slot for breakfast but the breakfast is superb ?

Hotel and rooms are beautiful. Stuff is excellent. Very welcoming. Our room was a bit humid and bathroom hood was working bad, towels are drying slowly because of that. Overall good experience. Make sure to book the room on the sunny side. Very nice living room / tea room

Great experience at Derby Manor. Very attentive staff, reception wasn’t open during our stay but always someone there to help. Very comfortable bed, great room. Free coffee and biscuits in the lounge, lovely outdoor seating area too. Close walk to the beach and station. Highly recommend!
