Perfect place to while away time if you want to get away from it all. However we just wanted a quick snack - two 'soup of the day' (which is supposed to be tomato today). Perhaps we should have ordered yesterday, it came eventually and was lentil, tide was out (half a bowl).
I've had good experience here in the evening, Saturday lunchtime not so good.

Hotel was lovely ( Christmas decorations still up ) so made it look magical. Room was very large and bed very comfortable . we stayed in a superior room ! Very clean . Hotel staff very friendly ! Food was amazing ! Service was excellent . We sat in the bar in the evening after dinner ! Lots of little bits so you could have a very chilled few drinks .

Just had a lovely afternoon tea here. There was plenty to eat, well presented. We used a voucher. A variety of sandwiches. miniature scotch eggs. sausage roll,fruit scone and jam and a selection of cakes.

We got married here nearly 10 years ago just as the hotel had started its refurbishment and Wow what a beautiful venue it has turned into. |Tastefully decorated to a very high standard throughout. The staff were friendly, attentive & professional & The Prego restaurant served food to an excellent standard. We came on the winter deal and were not disappointed, great value for money so much so we will return in February. Well done to all at The Derwent Manor for making it a great visit.

Had a fabulous stay at Derwent manor.
The Christmas fare was excellent lots of great quality crafts.
The room was very well equipped and comfortable.
The food was varied something for all tastes all of a good standard and well presented.
The staff were very friendly and professional.
The whole weekend was perfected by the fabulous Events Manager.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. We went on a Wowcher deal so had a limited dinner menu but the choices were still fantastic and the food was second to none. The rooms were amazing and the staff were really lovely. Had a great sleep. 100% will return.

Brilliant place for a short stay, clean and cozy. Friendly staff. Pool is quite big and not very busy.
The only downside is the quality of food, it went down significantly lately. If not that, I would stay there more often.

Had a family of eight for Xmas Carvery lunch superb ! Fantastic meal credit to the chefs ! Service was good well organised. Brilliant day and credit to the hotel staff for all their hard work on Christmas Day. We are all looking forward to going back next year.
