We loved our stay here. Louise and Chris are so friendly and gracious and willing to help with tips for exploring Bath and surrounding areas. The room was very clean and well stocked with necessities, and the bed was comfortable. Loved the view of the church out our window. Being first time drivers in the UK, we opted to pay for the parking permit for the private lot up the street ($5) to avoid any stress trying to find on street parking and it was an easy in/out. The optional continental breakfast was lovely. Highly recommend! Thank you Louise and Chris.

We loved staying at Devonshire House. The room was cosy and well-appointed. Beds were very comfortable. We loved the beautifully-prepared and plentiful continental breakfasts with fresh fruit salad, yogurt, fresh rolls or croissants, a hard-boiled egg, orange juice. Buses are handy to go to the city centre. Nearby on-street parking was not a problem while we were there. Chris is a very congenial and helpful host. We would like to stay there if we ever find ourselves in the amazing city of Bath again. Highly recommended.

What a lovely stay. |A little way up the hill, but only an easy down hill stroll to the train station and the gateway to the city. Good opportunity to take photos. |Warm and friendly hosts. |The breakfast was the best continental I’ve ever seen. |Thank you for a wonderful time.

A delightful location and a real home from home. Our host Louise was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and effortlessly went over and above. A pleasant walk into Bath, with pubs and restaurants en route. Would definitely stay again!!

Stayed at the Devonshire house in December whilst the Bath Christmas markets were on. The Hotel is fantastic, even better than the pictures. We stayed in room which was very spacious and had all the facilities required including an iron & board just outside the room. The owners Louise & Chris are lovely and very accommodating. It was about a 20-25 minute walk down into Bath. I would recommend you pre book and pay the £5 / night parking as parking on the street is extremely limited. The paid parking is less than 5 minutes walk up the road. We will most definitely be returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Devonshire house and Louise and Chris were so welcoming and friendly! Our room was cosy, the pillows and bed were very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The bath/shower was perfect, easy to operate and everywhere was exceptionally clean. It was my friend's birthday and we arrived to find a card and chocolates in our room for her, such a thoughtful touch to make her day even more special! Tea and coffee is available to make in the rooms 24/7 with top ups downstairs if needed. The continental breakfast here is AMAZING, so much choice on one tray delivered to your room daily. It really sets you up for the day and is worth every penny! There are some free car parking spaces opposite by the church, which luckily we were able to get! The walk into town is all downhill which takes about 15 minutes. There's a big choice of buses to ride back up the hill on, costing between £1.80-£2.00 if you're not feeling fit! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to family and friends.

Stayed for 2 nights to visit Bath Christmas Market. Lovely hosts. Sorted free parking for us opposite & ground floor room when I explained I had hurt my knee. Very convenient for Bath Centre. Just 20 minutes walk into town, but lots of buses. |Bed super comfy, en suite room, super quiet. Definitely recommend. Definitely use again.

Lovey place to stay in Bath and the hosts are very friendly. I had a double room with a separate bath. The room was cosy ,warm and quiet. The breakfast was extra but great value. Comfortable bed. I only used public transport while in Bath but the place is 20 minutes walk from the city center or there are busses that pass out the front. Would recommend if staying in the area.
