We spent 2 nights on this wonderful farm B&B. First the area surrounding this farm is beautiful. This whole glen area is absolutely stunning. We loved Anne who made us feel so welcome. Our room was perfect with many extra touches. Breakfast was delicious.|| I couldn't get enough of watching the sheep and the donkeys. It is so easy to walk up to the waterfalls. Everyone visiting Ireland should stay at at least one or two farm B&Bs and this one was a our favorite.

We wanted to spend a couple of days in Glenariff and booked at Dieskirt Farm. The instructions helped us to find the farm in a side road close to the Glenariff Forest Park. We had a warm welcome from Ann McHenry and were shown to our room overlooking the farm and the glen. The beds were new and extremely comfortable and the place was in pristine condition. We had two excellent breakfasts and walked to see the Glenariff waterfalls. The Forest Park is closed at the moment for construction of a new car park, but you can walk to the waterfalls from the Laragh Lodge close to the farm. It is on our list of B&B's to return to and we can thoroughly recommend it.

Wow! What hospitality and beauty all wrapped in one package. We stayed one night at this B & B during a 21-day driving trip about Ireland in 2013, and vowed if we returned to Ireland we would make sure we returned to this wonderful place. We did return in 2015 during a 23-day driving tour, and stayed for 3 nights, June 13th, 14th, and June 15th. Once again we were warmly welcomed by Ann McHenry. Unfortunately, Ann's husband, James, was having some health issues and was in the hospital during most of our visit. Despite being very busy and rather stressed during our time at her B & B, Ann went out of her way to make us comfortable. We greatly enjoyed conversing with Ann and a couple foreign youths who were working at the farm during our visit.||Breakfast meals were excellent. Besides granola & other cereals, there was always fresh fruit, yogurt, and porridge before being served a wonderful traditional breakfast.||The beauty surrounding this operating sheep farm in the valley was truly amazing. The location was perfect for exploring various venues. A picturesque 20 minute walk from the B & B will take you to Laragh Lodge where we ate excellent supper meals during two different evenings. Also at the location of Laragh Lodge we were able to take a wonderful hike within Glenariff Forest Park. During this hike we experienced great views including the Glenariff Waterfalls. All this was within walking distance of the B & B.||From this B & B we were able to have a relaxing visit to Belfast. We took the short 5 minute drive to Waterfort, and then drove south along the Antrim seacoast, admiring the majestic beauty along the way, eventually reaching the town of Larne. In Larne we were able to hop on a train for the 1 hour ride to Belfast. As a result we were able to enjoy visiting Belfast without any traffic and parking concerns, return back to Larne on the train, and enjoy once again the beauty of the Antrim coastline overlooking the Irish Sea. Of course from the Dieskirt Farm B & B it is a reasonable drive for visits to Bushmills Brewery, the Giant Causeway, and other tourist attractions on the northern coastline of Northern Ireland.||We loved our stay at Dieskirt Farm B & B. For those people who simply want a quiet time to relax and enjoy beautiful surroundings there is no real reason to do any more driving once you arrive at this amazing place. For those travellers interested in experiencing beautiful surroundings, enjoying genuine Irish hospitality, experiencing Irish traditions and farm life, and gaining knowledge of Irish history, this is an excellent B & B to visit.||||Ron & Daisy Bell (Canada)

Simply a fantastic Bed and Breakfast. The location is quiet, peaceful and relaxing overlooking one of the Glens. It is possible to walk from the B&B into Glenariff Forest Park. The coast is only a few minutes drive away.||||Our room was great and indeed of a higher standard than many Hotels. It was a good size and very clean. Lovely extra touches such as drinks and sweets left in the room. It overlooked the front garden with the river at the bottom and had a view of the Glen opposite. It also had a view of the Donkeys in the adjacent field who were the stars of our stay!||||There was a lovely lounge at the front of the house for guests to relax in again with great views. Tea and coffee along with biscuits were available in the lounge for guests. The lounge is part of the room were breakfast is served. The breakfast was great - cereal, fruit, coffee, tea and a cooked breakfast.||||Anne the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Our only regret was we were only staying one night but hopefully we can get back to stay longer the next time.

Dieskirt Farm is situated near the waterfalls of Glenariff Park and within walking distance of Waterfoot and Cushendall on the Antrim coast. Ann and James, shearing sheep when I first arrived, are wonderful hosts. My three-day stay was a terrific success much thanks to them. Breakfast was excellent and my room was very comfortable. Dieskirt Farm is highly recommended.

A stay in this country home was a highlight of our Circle Around Ireland trip. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. ||||We were delighted to find ourselves deep in a beautiful, pastoral setting in the Irish countryside. Sheep and lambs dot the green pastures and a bubbling brook runs through the farm. This home is comfortable, clean, and well appointed. Our bedroom suite included a very comfortable bed, warm decor, and plenty of space to relax in the evening after long drive. The private bath was large and clean with good water pressure and enough hot water for a good warm shower.||||James and Ann are terrific hosts; which is a feat in itself because they are running a very large and productive farm with sheep and cattle. We enjoyed their welcoming kindness and good humor throughout our stay - from those first few moments when Ann provided tea and refreshments upon our arrival, to a good evening sharing the craic with them both on their patio. Breakfast was outstanding too. Ann is a terrific hostess and the wonderful dishes that come from her kitchen are delicious and beautifully presented - from the authentic soda bread and potato bread to the fresh cut fruit selection to the perfectly prepared eggs - everything was simply outstanding. We enjoyed too the environment she created for guests with Irish tunes softly playing in the background to create a happy mood both day and night. ||||And lest you think that there is no place nearby for a decent meal, have James and Ann got a surprise in store for you! They directed us down a woodland road alongside their brook, then over a beautiful waterfall, and down a short path down to the water where we discovered a wonderful restaurant. It was amazing to find such a place just a beautiful short walk away from their home. Our meal there was absolutely wonderful - we enjoyed a delicious pate, salmon, and other regional favorites, coffee and dessert, and a fully stocked pub with fresh flowing cold drinks. ||||We left with a very wonderful and lasting impression. Highly recommended if you seek paradise.||||Tip: It's off the beaten path but SO worth it! Bring a SatNav with you and use the GPS coordinates feature to bring you right to the front door.

I'm writing this before I've even left. I've fallen in love with Northern Ireland, Glenariff, Dieskirts, Ann and James and all the Donkeys, Sheep, Horse etc. This is a gem of a b&b, it actually feels like home. The rooms are so comfy, Ann and James so welcoming and the surrounding country absolutely stunning. You only have to set foot outside the door and you're on your way into the wilderness. We walked from Dieskirts through Glenariff Forest Park and back and it is one of the best walks I have ever done. So enjoyable. It is a fine base to explore the whole of Northern Ireland (if you stay long enough!), we've stayed four nights and it is nowhere near enough, gives us the excuse of returning again! I really believe that this is a b&b to return to again and again. ||p.s. I even got to bottle feed a lamb, simply wonderful!

I stayed at Dieskirt Farm in the early 2000s (before TripAdvisor existed, despite saying on this review that I travelled May 2017!), and when I stumbled upon this listing - I needed to contribute. So happy to see it still going! The hosts were lovely; rooms clean and nicely equip with hair dryer, etc.; setting and views stunning; accessibility to lovely forest walks as well as locations along the coast. Not to be missed!
