A lovely place for the whole family. From the play area to all the water sports, (we did canoeing, which we loved), and indoor rock climbing. You can walk or cycle around the lake. Take one-off the many paths, The only downside, IMO, is the cost of the parking, but that said, we took our own picnic, do saved on buying food. Been before and will be back

If you are going to walk the full lake, make sure you give yourself 2 hours in the car park.

Great walk, Great for the dog, cafes at both ends and an excellent enclosed kids play area. Water sports hire, fishing day tickets, good parking and beautiful lake.

Food in the old cafe very average but filled some tummies. Bring a picnic, plenty of nice places to eat.

Lovely day out, kids played in the spacious park. We took our bikes and rode around the lake. We also hired a canoe and paddled on the lake. Great day out.

This peaceful and scenic natural spot is a true gem. Walking around the lakes on the well-marked paths is always a delight. Thereโ€™s also a picnic area, a childrenโ€™s playground, and an activity center where you can rent pedalos and more.

We travel 30 minutes just so we can enjoy this park often. Beautiful lake. Great big kids playground. Nice walks. The only downside is I think the parking is pricey.
